AZ-Hot Import Night 4/14/12
 

Hey AZ peeps! Saturday, April 14th Firebird Raceway is hosting Hot Import Night. Anyone going, can we get a roll call going?? I'll be there along with a few buddies. Hope to meet a few ppl from SL there!!!

We should have some people from Team Aftermath going, some showing, others not. I'll be there at least to attend.

A bunch of friends and I are gonna roll out about 5:30. I'm totally excited I've never been to anything like this!!

I'll be going for the Saturday event along with my crew. I can finally meet you in person Veronica :icon_smile:

It's nice to see nopi back it's been awhile since I've been to one, I'll probably try to get out there to check out the rides

i'll be heading out to the show as a spectator on saturday maybe sunday when i get off work. to many people keep hitting my car and i took half my stuff out of my car so yeah. i'll be around taking pictures and stuff for the heck of it and some stuff i'm working on. look forward to seeing the scion section been a while since i've been out to a show lol

What is going on Friday? Is that just drifting? Never been to a show before, so I can't wait to meet everyone. :icon_razz:

Friday is the first round of drifting. I think it starts from 6pm and ends at 10pm. Saturday is the show, second round of drifting, and the concert. Saturday begins at 3pm and ends at 10pm.

I will be there. But my car might be at the dealer. I traded in my 09 tc for a 12 tc and when they put a factory wing on it there was a big gap. So I might be in a rental.

Really hope my exhaust comes in this week so I can have it on for HIN.

Anyone know if they charge for kids? My son is under 10 yrs old.

Im not sure....I would think they might, but then again they might not. Its not listed anywhere on the website so I say no...but dnt quote me lol

Wish I went but I didn't want to risk getting my son sick. Maybe next time. I know there's always a show in October. I hope.

Just don't organize it this Saturday and every other Saturday after that. Other wise I won't be able to go due to work. But any other Saturday that's not those Saturdays would be good Saturdays to go. Wait...I said Saturdays are good then not good. Uh. It was a lil warm today. Especially to be in a car parked in a garage with engine heat.

WOO!!! Just found out the container I've been waiting on cleared customs and now my Tein S-Tech springs are on the way. Who knew that these springs for the Tc2 would be out of stock even in both East and West coast headquarters.

OOoh. You're on S-techs too!?! I loved them on my Tc1 so it was an easy choice for me this time around. I'm tired of rolling in 4x4 status.

@Aztc89: We need to get a clip of your exhaust. Couple other tC2 owners and I got video of the TRD, Descendant and straight pipe exhaust so people can actually hear the difference. :)

I tried to do a before and after video during the install, but we were rushing trying to get everything done because the exhaust came in the morning of Hot Import Nights so we were pressed for time. I need to see if one of my buddies has a nicer camera because the clip of the stock exhaust that I had recorded sounded like garbage. I'll definitely get one up here as soon as possible though MP.

So what's the haps on this get together deal. This whole Scionlife site was dead all weekend. Did I miss something. Not just Tc2 but Tc1 as well.

I wouldn't make it exclusive to tC2 owners or even tC's in general. It'd be nice to meet anyone and everyone who could make it. No word on getting it organized just yet. I'd shoot for a meet towards the end of May in order to give people enough time to plan around it.

Oh, I didn't mean Tc only meet. I meant this site all weekend had barely anyone on it leaving posts on both Tc1 and Tc2 threads that I was subscribed to. I'd like to see all makes and models if possible. Not just Scion. I normally get close to 25-30 emails about thread updates from ScionLife everyday. I probably got 12 post updates all weekend.

Looking good and you'll love the motor mount and exhaust! Both are fairly easy to install and make huge differences.

Glad to see some local tC2 owners on here. And I'm thinking about doing a meet'n'drive next Thursday. I know, a lot of people wont' be able to make it, but people can't seem to make it on weekends either, so...

Thursday is good for me. Next Wednesday will also be the Kyoei meet at Tempe Market Place.

I may be at Kyoei as well with my club. Haven't gone in like 2 months.

It's been about a year for me since my last Kyoei meet. They're all good people. So if there is a meet next Thursday, where would it be? I should be at the Kyoei meet as well.

IIRC it was near a Best Buy in Tempe Marketplace. I don't know if that is their usual meet spot, I've only been once.
