Hello everyone just wanted to show you my new mod that I purchased from No Limitz Ind....aka BiggJ

I got rid of my stock steering wheel and decided to go with an NRG wheel. I absolutely love this new wheel. it is very comfortable too. Anyway here are a couple of pictures to share with you. They were taken off my cell phone so they aren't the best pics but not bad for a cell phone.

I knew it wouldn't take long for someone to say something about that. Thats what I get for not being able to clean it for 3 months since I was in Utah...lol

I think it only comes stitched in Red.... could probably die it black though

Nice.. same wheel that i have just mine is silver in the middle... i took a black sharpie to the red stiching.. maybe you should too IMO

looks really nice man. Id love to have a steering wheel like that but I like my air bag too much for safety. If i got a second car and my tC became a show only car and not a daily driver i would then consider getting rid of safety devices in the car

 

I have a question along these same lines. My tC's a daily driver also, and I'd love to have a cool steering wheel like that. But along with losing the airbag, I like having my cruise control and volume controls on the wheel. What happens to these controls when you replace the wheel? Are they no longer available? Obviously there's no controls on the wheel itself, but are there other options?

 

From what I have heard....you lose the airbag and cruise control and their is no options....pick your poison.

I am really wrestling with a new wheel but the airbag is something we take for granted. Dont know if I want to risk that.

 

as far as I know, radio controls and cruise are just switches. you can relocate them wherever you want if you extend the wiring.

Is the cruise one of those on a stalk, or is it just buttons? Either way it is just a coupl switches and can be moved and/or the switches changed to rockers or toggles.
