Had no idea that you had made a post on this already.

Just teasing ya. Yeah it sucks I got a call from a buddy in cali this morning & he told me to google it, he found it by accident and thought it was a hoax. Then about 11am all the reports started to go around as he had been in and out of the hospital for unknow reasons & passed away @ 6am today. Heck yahoo or MSN still do not have the story on the front page which is shocking.

What really bummed me out was the total lack of careing on this forum that the tragedy happened. I personally did not like the guy much but a legend is a legend and he deserves respect & a RIP like you have him in this post.

He wasn't my favorite Hot Rod builder either. I got to meet him up at the Goodguys car show up in Scottsdale and he wasn't the friendliest person but I do have a lot of respect for the talent that he had and he will always be looked at as a legend. I really did enjoy his TV show American Hot Rod though.
