Car alarm installers?
Just curious what places are local to the Peoria area that do car alarm sales and installs?
School is out for break and my next door neighbor got his car broken into for the 3rd time now (civic) but i'm nervous about my car and want a little more theft protection.
I was thinking AutoStyle but I haven't looked into it and wanted to know where some of you got your alarms installed.

I've done my own and a couple in ScionApocalypse. Not hard at all, unless it's a Compustar. Very vague on their install guide and it's not laid out very well. I personally have a Prestige. I had them in the past and have been very pleased.
Something by DEI is the ticket too.

Thats what i'm bidding on now. It's made by DEI according to an alarm tech friend of mine. I'm going to have him install it, I figured he wouldn't have the time but he said no problem.

I got outbid while I was at work.
DOH.
Now I have to wait for another killer deal. I don't want remote start because of it taking away from my cars theft detourant-ness. Plus i'm in the habbit of throwing the car into 3rd when I stop & pull up the ebrake.
Now i'll look for an alarm that has the glass sensor / proximity sensors & an fob that has a screen with the overview of the car. forget what their called.

I like the Zenesis but to avoid having an insane install charge, i'm having my alarm-tech friend do it (he is certified and works at a dealership but never has done a Zenesis) so i'm weary of him installing it correctly.
It's the knock-knock sensor that got me, haha. Too cool
