Ladies and gentlement of the Scionetics family we have two car washes this weekend. The first one will saturday @ 9 am at the Denny's parking lot located on Dobson and Main. The second will be sunday, also be @ 9 am. This one will be at the Denny's parking lot on Country Club and Southern. If anyone wants to help out please show up around 8:30 am. supplies are still needed so please contact me if you have some. I would really help if you can deliver. I can help out Sunday morning......I can bring a bucket and hose nozel, what else is needed at this point? I can bring my hose if needed.

Has anyone contacted the media? They like to support causes like this. Often, if they have a slow news day, they will even do a remote.

 

We're going to call a few radio stations but we do not want any reporters there...they've been hounding us since it happened and we don't want to talk to them

 

I have contacted power 92 and they are gonna make some anoucment and I am currently wait on a call back from them to see about getting a van to come out.

Looks like I'm good for Sunday as well.

 

1047 Kiss FM is going to be at my work on Saturday with their van at MTX for the Pimp My Ride casting call, someone could drop by and talk to one of the DJ's and ask them about coming by on Sunday or making announcements.

 

I made mention of what happend and what we are doing in the local 350Z group since Nick was involved in the video we did for them. They are being very supportive and a couple of them want to come down for the car wash, are we going to have enough people to do it on Saturday as well? We should have a roll call for people that are going to help, can this done on Scionetics for both days please?

Some asked since they can't make it to the car wash if there is a paypal account setup for donations so you might want to look into that Nick.

I will be posing a link to this thread on the Z forum so they can have up to date info on the car wash.

 

I dont have all the details but there are two accounts set up at desert schools credit union.

 

The two events are posted and the email is sent.

I've got buckets, mitts and rags here if someone can pick them up and get them to Chris.

 

I work weekends so I will not be able to make either wash day. But please post the details on the Credit Union account as I would like to donate some cash.

 

We now have a 3rd location and day for a car wash. The 3rd car wash will be at Carrabas (sp?) in east mesa this coming up friday and saturday at 10am. I guess the people doing the car washes at Denny's already have the help covered but we still need help for the one at Carrabas. If any of you can make it out to help that would be GREAT. The more help the better. And send anybody that needs their cars washed out that way. As your probably all aware in some way or another, costs for things like this are A LOT. we need to raise as much money as possible to properly take care of things. If anyone has any questions please pm, call, instant message me, whatever. I wish we wouldn't be needing to do any of this but since we are it must be done right.

yes double poster, thats what i'm saying...I don't know what all of the details on the Denny's car washes are but i'm told that they've got it covered. We could really use everybody's help next friday and saturday though.
