Fujiz- If you're aking if this event will feature "techno" music, yes, it will be primarily electronic genres, ranging from electro, breaks, dnb/jungle, with some hip hop and turntablism thrown in for good measure.

tc_N_az - yeah, last year was sick, we did it up at Four Peaks, although I believe the venue will be different this year. Regardless, we've got some cool stuff planned for this year, so you should grab some friends and come check it out.

 

I had no idea what you were talking about, so I had to look up the term "kitchen pass" online...good stuff! And it's definitely worth a kitchen pass. ;)

 

Been a long time since I have hit up parties, but there are some people I have never seen live and want to so I gotta get back into the game I want to go to Fusion to see dieselboy.. do you know ariel ill? I don't believe he lives here anymore, but he dj'd an event not too long ago, maybe one you posted?

 

yeah, Ariel is chillin' out in Cali (Huntington Beach area I believe)...I spoke with him last Friday actually, he's doing well, still alive and kickin'. Good people, for sure. He still makes the occassional appearance out here in AZ, but I don't think he's going to be back anytime soon, he was saying something about a promotion at his job and whatnot, things are apparently going pretty well for him out there.

 

Looks like I will have to add it to my schedule.

Cool, that's good to hear. He used to live a few houses down from my friend, and they were friends. The last event I went to he was spinning, at the nile, that's how long it has been;) I also used to know/hang out with a guy named wes, he goes by particle15.

 

I think I need to call our hotel limo service for the free services they owe me!

 

crazy stuff, Cuthbert, I know Wes (P15) as well! He played at Wonder3 (an event that I was also playing at and posted on this board) a few weeks back and I ran into him at the bar last Friday night as well. He's still out and about around here, I keep buggin' him to go to AOTN II, so he may be at the party next weekend.

I didn't even live in AZ when the Nile was still a venue...but I've heard many a story about it. I'm originally from Chicago, that's where I first got involved in the scene.

I went to the dentist today for my wisom teeth and found out I need to pull all four wisdom teeth and get two root canals. I go back in on Friday so it all depends on what they do then and how I feel afterwards. Will keep you updated
