they all have their faults. the thing about *** is, u can still watch tv when its windy outside or there is a storm. we had dtv in the past and it lost signal anytime there was a storm. not to mention, you are responsible for the dish, so if someone comes by and steals it or breaks it. u gotta pay. i chose ***, even after any issues i may have had. my internet is stable, same with cable. its only been down maybe 2-3 days in the last year. but i dont even think its been that much

I'd go DirecTV. I was with Direc for years & switched to Dish in December because they were running a special on the Platinum HD package. It seemed like a good move at the time. Worst TV-related mistake I've made. I save a little $$, but the DVR sucks like a Michael Bolton medley, & the customer service is ill. Plus, they've over-charged us twice in our first 6 months & I've had to fight with them to make it right. DirecTV has the best packages, and by far the best Tivo/DVR solution out there. I will be switching back as soon as my contract is up. Maybe sooner, if I get to a place where I can't stand it any more. Seriously, it's that bad. Look on Craig's List for deals. I see people advertising there all the time. Or just call the 1-800 number 'cuz they run specials all the time. My $.02...//TJ

I'm licensed to sell Direct TV. I'm running a special right now too. For new Direct TV customers you can score a $50 Visa gift card. Call me Loco!

Just let me know and I'll take care of you. Maybe there will be another deal that's even better than $50 card.

I have directTV. Actually if you haven't gotten your service yet I need somebody to take over my contract. I have a year left and the new condo I'm moving into is in a weird position in the middle of the complex. It doesn't face the southern skies and the community is strict about mounting. I only pay about $59 with DVR and protection.

Just thought I'd throw that out there.
