If you've signed up for the November 4th meet at Camelback you may have noticed a little contest we're putting on to design a tC. We're even allowing for two-tone paint!!
Are there any rules you ask? Why of course there are.
- All entries must be built from the accessories menu at Camelback Scion.
- The unit will be a Classic Silver Metallic tC with Manual Transmission
- Two tone color MUST be a current color, used in the USA, by Toyota.
- All entries must be submitted NO LATER THAN November 1 for judging.
- Entries that include two-tone paint must include a picture depicting the paint scheme.
Everyone is welcome to enter their idea and the winning entry will win a set matching socks and underwear, chosen from the summer wardrobe of Mr. Bryan Lonsberry!** Not just ANY socks and undies, these are the more interesting items that his laundry service gave up on! Imagine the hours of entertainment! The icebreaker potential! This prize would make a better coffee table book than ANY coffee table book ever! (Autographing is available, at an additional charge)
Don't miss this opportunity to own a small piece of Scion history and, possibly, trace amounts of Bryan!
**Winner may choose, at their descretion, to accept a different prize with a cash value not to exceed $100.00US

We know this contest isn't for everybody. That's why we're giving a MUCH BETTER prize away to someone that contributes to the FOOD DRIVE.
Just give them a rough sketch of what you want and have a key on your sketch showing what the color should be. I have some ideas for mine, but just not sure what direction to go.
Mark, can I sketch my design and then scan it onto the computer? Or does it have to be in some particular format?

I dont do photoshop, I do pencil and paper
How about if we were all to be able to do a scheme on the same starting picture. Does anyone have a tc blank picture they could distribute via email?
Just a thought because I cant draw a car worth a crap anymore but I can do graphics tho.

I was going to take a profile picture of my tC and use the Cartoon feature to get it blank. I can e-mail that to some people if they want.
I agree though, paper and pencil. As far as my sketches go, still old school for sure!
n2htwlz is going to be in on this, oh boy....now there is some competition!

And I'll be expanding the wheel selection this weekend.
Hey Mark are we allowed to use any of the aftermarket wheels that you guys sell there or do we have to stick with whats on Scions' site?? Now all of the accessories can be found on line too right on Scion.com??
