Default THE DOOR PANELS ARE FINALLY DONE!!!! *PIX*

Pix will come tomorrow but I finally got the door panels on the car and they look awesome. I can't tell everyone how nice it is to be able to drive with music again, i'm jumpin for joy.

I forgot my card reader today so I can't post pics I took with my camera so these are the ones I took with my camera phone, I'll try to post better ones tonight. Right now the acrylic is being drilled out to be mounted to the panel and then i need to spend some time cleaning up the panel from the glue left by the painter on the fabric and top of the panel.

I've had a few people comment on that and I even thought that at first when designing the door. Problem is that I'm not going to be doing anything to the dash, and if the door was completely fabricated and custom it wouldnt match at all. So by having the contrast line of where the door is custom and where it isn't it allows for good flow of the vehicle from front to back.

Should I ever do anything to the dash I will be left with the option to change the top of the door if I wanted to. This could be a hint to FIRMWARE WORX if they want to sponsor me with their dash wrap kit we could to the top of the doors in CF.

I like em. Personally I would rather have something protecting that other speaker, but not like you can't get more of them if something damages them.
Good job.

i'm not really worried about protecting the speaker, the grill on the front mid is only to hold the tweeter over the mid. That fiberglass and small wooden brackets are not going to protect the mid much if anything blunt goes towards it. Might help but I'd rather replace the driver than get fiberglass fixed and re painted.
