Default Finally Grew Some *****...

...as the saying goes.

I am going for it. I'm having Lasik done to my eyes next Friday, March 9th. Has anyone here had it done before? I'm nervous, but I am really excited. I've been putting it off, but I decided I don't want to wait anymore.

Now I'll be able to sport the tC without my dorky prescription sunglasses on. Yee-haw!

A friend of mine had it done too and she loves it. I wanted it, but now my glasses have become part of my personality, so they will be staying for a little while.

I had it done years ago, one of the best things EVER!!
my ex wife and brother had it done too, after they saw I didn't go blind.

It is virtually pain free, just a little weird.

You will love it!

I don't think ***** would look good on you.

I haven't had Lasik, but I had a lens replacement because of cataracts. I don't know if it's the same, but it's pretty weird sitting there watching them mess with your eye.

I had it done in 2001- I love it, it took a couple seconds per each eye. I got up and walked out with 20/20 vision and of course the first evening you have perfect little blurry vision. But i woke up the next morning- I could SEEEEEEE it was awesome.. Well worth the money i spent back then.. That is one thing i would never trade ..

You will be soooooooooo happy- congrads.

Getting done March 21... Dr. Randal (Randode) Tozer. I love the fact they have to peel off the retna! I wanna get some LED's done while they are in there? Don't know if they can though?

My aunt had it done a while back. Apparently it didn't work on her very well and her eyesight was actually worse for a while. I don't know if she ever got it corrected or not (i don't talk to her all that often). Last i saw her she wasn't wearing glasses but she could just be wearing contacts.

damn! I got the clear acrylic in my right eye, I forgot to have it etched and LED's put in before they installed it. I think it's too late now, too hard to hide the wires.

I'm getting it done by Dr. Aasim Kamal at the Nationwide Vision Eye and Laser Center on Camelback. It's pretty reasonable pricing too...for both eyes, lifetime insurance/warranty, temporary duct plugs and drops, it's $1650.00. That's really good.

My prescription is REALLY bad...astigmatism in both eyes and I can't see 3 inches in front of me without my glasses or contacts.

I'm so excited, but nervous too. It's a little overwhelming and nervewracking knowing that your eyes are being operated on while you are awake.

It's a little freaky having them work while you're watching, but they gave me drugs when I had my lens replaced so it's OK. You're there and awake, and I remember all of it, but it didn't really bother me. I saw lots of pretty colors and things too.
