Lets see...It took me over a month to do a simple paint job on my wheels. I don't want to even think, how long it would take me to do a led swap. Plus I'll get to help out on the.... RJ's still jobless fund. Let me know if your willing to my led swap.

Ok.. here is the big secret on my super bright HVAC lighting...

...

...

...

...

Ready for it?

....

.....
I took a single LED placed it right at the end of the "clear mustache" right at the end of the 45 degree cut. What I used there was a Varad single led pack.. makes it nice with the little plastic housing that I plastic welded on the factory side.

Then the ***** are easy.. 5mm LED with a 330 ohm resister ..

nice easy fixer up.. takes about 15 min or so.

I figured the ***** were that simple, but I wasn't sure about the dials. Did you leave the modified #74 bulbs in there too? (IIRC that's what you used, right?)

Now since you're the plastic cutting and welding king you need to cut the little slot on the aire recirc. slider, weld in a frosted lens, and put and LED behind that. As cheap as I am I'd even pay you to slot and lens mine of you do a good job on yours.

Yes, I kept the 74's and I acutally soldiered onto the leads for power for these leds too..
that way its all powered from that one spot. AND makes it easy to remove when you have to do other stuff... since it will be all self contained.

that's cool. I probably won't do those because my dials are pretty even right now, adding those may throw the balance off. I'm thinking hard about the dials though.
