I know i brought it up a while ago, but is everybody still interested in indoor kart racing. One of the managers of F1 came into my work and is getting his tile from us and is going to call me next week about setting up something for our club.

 

I am at the point, were nothing is being planned anymore. I am ready to do anything. I miss everyone.

I work at the pool on LAFB... i see them all day long... it would be cool for those who havent seen them up close though.. just wondering if it is possible to get all the cars on base.. im thinking no but maybe its possible

 

Getting all of the cars on base would be very hard, but I love the idea!

I hate having to see those airplanes when I'm not working. I wish I could get a photo shoot with some scions and an F16, but I don't think its possible, they only do Dodge Viper things(Dodge Viper and F16 "Viper" ) but I have wanted a pic of my car and a jet for a while

 

I think we would need to have one Mil member per scion, but I'm not positive about that, cause I was overseas most of my career and they have to be more strict over there, but from what I have heard you can sit up along Northern Ave west of Litchfield and watch them land...yeah but like i said I have to see them over 50 hrs a week

 

haha i was going to suggest the same thing. f1 is right near my work... i think.

 

and there is always my suggestion of floating down salt river.

 

I love floating the river but my Porsche was broken into twice while parked there and I'll never leave another car in that parking lot again.

i have heard that from a few people... car thieves prey on places like the salt river and movie theatre parking lots because they are so big, usually full, and the owners are gone for over 2 hours giving them a good cushion to commit the crime.. i hate going to the movies because i cant enjoy the movie, im too worried about my baby

What about this weekend. I'm still grounded (working on my house and getting my wife back from Canada this weekend) but would be glad to fill a date or two on the event calendar for you.

 

how about haning out at jillians @ desert ridge this weekend.
they have food, drinks, games for adults and kids, a bar, bowling, sports on tv's.. a big enough area to park, security.
what does everyone think????

 

Yea, I think Luke would be cool but, I don't think it will happen getting on the base at all.

Now, an Idea but, it would be a Friday night thing. Firebird usally has a run what you brung night.. its always fun to go watch and run your ride if you want.

Looks like the next night they are doing that is July 8th.

 

There is Arizona Motorsports Park at the southern end of the runway, but I thought it was shut down.

 

I don't know how many times I suggested this but here's one more time. How about a sunday cruise to sedona or tucson and meet with da guys from tucson!
