Default Garage Day - Rescheduled AGAIN to May 23rd!!

Hey all, as requested in another thread, looks like I will be hosting a Garage Day on [edited] May 23rd. I only had 3 people committed to being here, & 2 have had to cancel. At any rate, I'm an early riser, so we can start it off first thing...8 or 9 or whenever the first person gets here. I have a 4 car garage, decent amount of tools, a compressor, a fridge full of cold beer (and maybe a couple sodas/waters), and a mini bike track for break time fun. I am out in the middle of BFE, though, so I dunno who is willing to make the drive. At any rate, let me if there is a date that works better & we can go from there, otherwise we hope to see as many as possible on the 23rd of May!...//TJ

Address:
26715 S. 198th Place
Queen Creek, AZ 85242
480-857-3465 home
480-577-7765 mobile

PM for easy directions, since this may not come up on mapquest/Nav...//TJ

TJ,

I'll be there.

How about a Google map link to your house, your phone number just in case people get lost and a time when you want people to start showing up?

P.S. What's up with the blue writing? Kind of hard to read. I know, I'm an old man who can't see worth a damn. ;)

P.S. Can a mod please sticky this thread? Thanks!

Doh! I knew I forgot something. Unfortunately, my house is far enough in the sticks that Google/mapquest can't find it. I can email anyone interested directions, though. I have a set pre-typed from previous get-togethers. If anyone's feeling lucky, they can try finding it. Some Nav systems seem to find it, but no promises. My address is:

26715 S. 198th Place
Queen Creek, AZ 85242
480-857-3465 home
480-577-7765 mobile

Is this easier, Robert? Heh...//TJ

Ha! Actually, that's very close. That's 198th Street. I am the next street East (right, on the map) of there. It looks like that pic was taken just before we started building. Oddly enough, though, the street view shows my house & the mini track right in front of it. Directions to that address will get you close, just remember that I'm on 198th Place, not Street. I'm actually right on the corner of 198th Place & Hunt Highway...//TJ

I'm an early riser, so I'll start whenever the first person gets here. Looks like there's a little show out here in QC from 3-7 too, so if people are done by then they can check that out too. Here's a link:

I will probably be there. I want to do my rear breaks, but not sure if there is any place close that will turn my drums.

But I do have a couple engine bay things I want to do...

Man, I might have to push this back a week or two. Have family coming into town earlier than expected. Hey Dave...there are a couple Checker's out here that can turn em, so you should be good to go. Did the rears on my Lincoln Saturday & what a PITA! Could not get the rotors off & my puller was just barely too small to do the job (that's what she said...doh). couple hours of Liquid Wrenching & Rubber malleting later, & I finally got em. 1 hours job turned into 4 hours. On the up side, yesterday I got my new HU in, Amp wired, and speaker box built. Sub should be here by Wed, so I can get it in by the weekend. I'll update shortly on whether or not I have to push this back...//TJ

Right on, Anthony. I need to check mine too, & hit my rotors. I should have some new interior stuff to add by then, too. Looking forward to it...//TJ

I'm hoping to have my body kit and paint done by the 18th so I can concentrate on finishing up the new sub-box design at this event. Either way, I'm sure I'll have plenty to do.
