Default Garage Day - Saturday Feb 28th, 2009

The first garage day was a great success, let's do it again!

Saturday Feb 28th, 2009 @ 10:00am and going on for the rest of the day and evening.

Have a mod you have been wanting to get done? Need some help? Come on out to the second garage day of 2009. 3 car garage with big driveway. Let's all team up and help each other out with our mods.

I will have all of the "basic" tools on hand, but feel free to bring any special tools you or others may need. I am opening up my house to everyone no matter which club you belong to, so please leave all drama at home.

I live within 5 minutes of the US60, I-10, 51, 101 and 143 freeways.

Thanks for your offer to help, we would love to have you!

As for other cars, we are trying to keep this Scion only so we don't get too overwhelmed with work. Sorry.

Very cool deal, Robert. I had hoped to make this last one, but have been sick w/the Flu since last week. Hopefully I'll make the next one. Still have my CAI sitting in a box in the garage. If we want to do an East Valley GD, I am willing to host, as well. I live way out in Queen Creek, but have a 4 car garage & tools. I seem to see a lot of Scions out this way. At any rate, I plan to make it out on the 28th, even if only to lend a hand/tools...//TJ

3 days away!

Looks like we will have some fun projects to work on this Saturday. Even if you don't have anything you need done on your vehicle, we could always use an extra pair of hands and would love to have anyone out to visit!

Who knows you might even learn something new, so you can do the same mod to your own car.

Big thanks to Robert & Theresa for hosting this. Was cool to see some old faces & meet some new folks. Lots of impressive stuff to see & some cool mods, not to mention a few ideas for future projects of my own. Talked to Robert about hosting the next one, so I'll pick a date in March when there hopefully isn't too much going on & try to set something up. Thanks again Robert, & was cool to see/meet everyone. Anxious to see some pics of the updated set-up, once it's done. I'll be out that way on Tuesday, if you want me to drop off that 4 1/2" saw or any other tools...//TJ

TJ,

Thanks for coming out and lending a hand, it was great to have you out!

I machined the cross bars for the box on Sunday with the Plasma CNC and they came out great! The junction boxes to tie everything together will be a project for this Saturday. I should have it completed by the garage day at your house next month. Looking forward to checking out your 4 car garage!
