Garage Shop Customs project.......Wifes new ride!
Well as you know my wife Michelle's 1996 Silverado was totaled by a kia sportage while I was driving home from work a couple weeks ago. She was devistated about it until she found her new ride. Michelle is now the proud owner of a 1998 Chevy Suburban 2wd, dual a/c, vortec 350 and 3rd row seating. We picked it up for 6200.00 after the insurance company paid us 7550.00 for the truck. We have more room now for the kids.
Take a look, it wont look like this for long. We want to paint it first before it gets lowered and the interior changed around.

We love it! The truck is huge compared to anything else we have customized. Michelle has already debadged it last night and took off the fender moldings. The body side moldings are next for today. All the vital fluids in the truck have been neglected so that is what ive been doing the past couple days.
Anyone know of a good inexpensive place to have the cooling system power flushed? The last owners put the wrong coolant in it when they replaced the radiator.
We want to install airbags with 4 link
Yeah, we can have a current projects page....
All black outside, and black and purple inside.
Well, we thought the heavy chevy was indestructable aswell. The kia slammed me from behind at a stoplight and shoved me into the chevy colorado in front of me.

how did a kia take out a silverado?!?! not trying to bust your topic, but man, musta been crazy
ah, im glad your alright...cant wait to see what you do with this, we just bagged an excursion a few weeks ago, it went up slow, but thats feasable. nitrogen? helium? air? im running 2 viair 380cs on my box, and they do the job for a 5 gallon tank pretty well, on a big monster like that, you may wanna look into a belt driven compressor, or oasis style hehe. cant wait to see whats next!
