Default It was a good day to do some modding.... :)

While I have some time being jobless, I figured I would catch up on some overdue modding that I have been putting off for some time.

First was to change out the Randode interior cathode lighting to upgrade to the new Randode purple 7 function led lighting. Its hard to get the pics of the purple lighting so there is no pics, sorry .

Second was to tackle the Perrin Pulley upgrade. I have 2 words for this mod, holly 'F'. I mean that in both good and bad. It was a biatch to get the adjustment bolts loose on the alternator and the power steering but after a bit of persuasion (a pipe, a few smokes and a lot of cussing) these were loosened. Funny how the manual states 40ft pounds of torque on the bolts and I cant budge them with my 290lbs . All tho, I am very pleased with the outcome of the pulley, quicker revs up and down. Very pleased.

Third was the install of the DC Header. This wasnt so bad but the exhaust bolts were a bit rusted. Had to use some PB Blaster and the impact and all was good. I like the addition of the header with the other mods, makes the motor come alive. Very responsive now.

Its hard to take pics of the header when its stuffed in the back of the motor .

Added.
I forgot, I also rolled my fenders. Not that they needed it but I needed the practice.

Sweet. I wish I had the talent to take on stuff like that myself.

That is great- When i changed out my pulley- I was sooooo shocked- I could hardly carry the OEM to the bench it was so heavy- then my 1 pounder really made my car peppy..
Great job, whats next?????

Hey Angry_Angel- If a girl can work on her car- then you can tooooo. Or Just get a girl to help.. Either way - manuals are easy to understand if you run into a snag.. I always call my dad and ask if i am doing it right..

I'm an engineer so I could probably figure things out like that if I wanted to. But I'm just afraid that I'm gonna screw something up, parts will go flying causing more damage, and I'll be stuck without a car for a while, and it'll cost more money to fix. That's why I'd rather have someone else do it.

Then again, you can't trust other people's work all the time either. I used to have a Civic and I had a shop put on a CAI. 2 weeks later the filter fell off while I was driving. Then I had to go and fix it myself.

I don't know. I'm so confused.

It reforms the inside fender lip. When a rim and tire combo that are kinda wide are put on the car, the sidewall of the tire may rub the inside fenderlip when you hit a bump or the car is realy low or both...
