Hey all, unfortunately my steering gear has failed, causing me to drift to the end of the earth and back while on the freeway(scary as hell). So, I am the search for a replacement, and no not the dealer because they are almost a grand after the parts that are recommended for replacement as well.

If someone knows where I can get one at a good price somewhere in the 200 range, I would greatly appreciate it. Preferrably with low mileage and 2006.

I talked to the guys at Greenleaf Auto Recycling in Chandler and they have a few for around 200 with very low miles, but would rather not have to drive so far, get my drift?

Check other locals, carquest and napa... phone calls are cheap and those guys are all over the place... also try looking for the rack and pinion for echos if the xb isn't "stocked"
