Hello and welcome, there are quite a few scion owners here in the phoenix valley. they have been trying to get more get togethers going so you will have to come out and meet everyone. you can check www.scionetics.com for local meets....its a place where different events are posted with address's and maps. If you are looking to join a club there is about 3 or 4 clubs local here.
At least you are smart to move here when summer is almost over... that way you miss the heat we have here....lol It sucks moving during the summer....I know it first hand...
Anyway again welcome and don't be a stranger to come out and meet us.

There is some dealer shows. Not to many though. Alot of our good contact at the dealerships have left. There is a couple great people at some of the dealerships here. Just trying to get it all going seems to be the hold up sometimes. I know I host a event every 3rd Sat out in the east valley for a meet. I am trying to get a good normal thing going that everyone can count on all the time.
Hope to see you out at some of the meets here for sure.
On the SE. Not many if any at all. I have not seen a SE sticker here in a very long time.
There is a couple great clubs here, Scion Apocalypse, Sciontology, and Scionetics (which is not a club) LOL.. Mark at Scionetics is a great guy that trys to be the go to guy on the upcoming events. He keeps track on what is going on in the valley. Does a great job on it.

I miss the AZ scion community. I'm in Korea and I miss the meets. I just hope I'll be able to see everyone when I'm in LV, NV.

Nice Arizona is awesome but today in my Geography class..my teacher was asking us if we would live in Arizona, Oregon, or any other near by states considering that Yellowstone has a freakin super volcano that can erupt any time soon. Studies have showed that the ground of Yellowstone has risen a couple of inches and evidence of volcanic heat waves beneath the ground has increased. The volcano is so big that it can whip out 1/4 of the United States along with a little portion of Canada. No offense to anyone, Im just stating what my professor told me today. Like I said Arizona is awesome.

Another Chicagoan leaving. I myself is thinking about leaving too but to either TN or FL...I'm still undecided...
Anyways, enjoy AZ and I'm sure you are not gonna miss the "below 0" weather and the 15 feet of snow and the "black ice" and the friggin HIGH taxes and gas prices...

But really, Arizona is a great place to live during December, and January.
