So after being told by the family I'm to obssesed with my car when they heard I wash it twice a month and re-detail it everyday after work. So I wanted to find out how often you guys clean/detail your cars!

 

I wash it once a week. I have a hard time keeping it clean between washes because it's dark when I leave for work in the morning and usually dark when I leave for home.

 

I'm the complete opposite. I would like to clean it more often but its hard to get a chance to really clean it too often. I only really clean it before going to shows. I don't even clean it for meets.

 

I try to clean it once a week, but I usually clean the inside as often as i can.

And yeah, I gotta force N7 to clean is car sometimes! LOL

 

Ditto. I HATE my 3 hour daily commute back and forth.

 

1x a week... just to keep the dirt level down. and a deep scrub 1x a month or for a show what ever comes first.

I just love my dirty commute to work.. and my poor box parks outside at night too.. so all the wonderful evening dust sticks to it.

 

I would welcome the dirt, more than the golf *****.

 

I average 1x a week.

Once a week when possible inside and out, even under the hood.

 

Every Saturday morning at the Spot Free on Elliot and Priest for 2 or 3 hours. Wax once a month and a quick detail every now and then during the week. Just depends on what is going on that week.

And your parents give you crap about keeping something so nice! My dad had hounded on me for years about keeping my car clean. He is a freak though, even in the dead of winter with snow on the ground he is out there every week washing his Lexus. Me...the Subi would get about seven washes a year...none of which came during the winter time. Pretty much only between May and September, that's it!

I've had my car for a little over a year and have never waxed it. I guess I should do it sometime. its just a pain in the butt.

 

1x a week. Anybody who made the poor choice of nautical blue will tell you that there isn't much of a choice.

 

Mines Black Sand Pearl. it never stays clean. I can dust it off and 5 minutes later I haft to re-dust it.

I detail my cars about 3 times a week.. I actually just finished clay barring and a new coat of wax on my cosworth and the tC got wax yesterday... my girlfriend thinks I'm nuts by cleaning soo much
