Default How you all like that wind?

Coming home from Tucson today I was blown all over the highway by that wind.
Talk about dust.. and....
Then all of a sudden a tumbleweed the size of my box jumps out *BOOM* I swear it sounded like a explosion going off. All I can say is Chad and his Rockblocker earned its money today. We had to stop off at that Dairy Queen just before the Coolidge turn off to pick out/off tumbleweed from everything.

I wish I could of gotten a trailing view of that sucker.. it must of been comical.
All I know is I slowed down trying to duck behind the car beside me.. but no luck.
I am glad so far I have not seen any other dammage besides tumbleweed thorns and remains everywhere in the engine bay.

Yea it was definetly quite breezy. I was on my way home from Phx today (had to see UofA lose a tough one to ASU in person, haha) and my xb was all over the place. It was crazy, but good times for sure.

Peace,

I was playing golf at Coldwaters golf course in Avondale and it was really windy the whole round. I thought this was normal in Avondale.

It is normal out here. That way you get the full smell of the farms around here insert *country* here.

Damn, Rj. that must have been one big tumbleweed. That is twice now that I have saved your bacon, I mean your box. and you were a little worried that a guy was going to do it at first. Glad that I could help you out like that. Just another reason and way our products can protect boxes.

reason 112a - Stops tumbelweeds teh size of your box

I've played there. It was pretty windy yesterday. I was at the river bottom yesterday at 339th Ave and had trouble getting a fire started.

Good thing the airbags didn't deploy, woulda been a helluva night. I have not surveyed the damage yet - no clear bra for me, so hopefully it's not too bad...

i've been moving into my new house this past week, and yesterday we had moved a load with the box, and my uncles avalanche. when we were driving back, there were gale force winds that were blowing me around in the avalanche (!), and my wife was behind me in the box. she got back about ten minutes later than me (on a normally ten minute drive), shaking, with white knuckles.
seriously windy!

I live out in Florence and it was windy and cold. It felt like it was going to snow at any time. I thought we were going to blow away when we were putting our christmas lights up, we were frozen solid......

1st day I had my tc, had an 80mph head on with a rolling monster tumbleweed. I was suprised, did not scratch the paint at all but I had about 40,000 shards of it in my condensor. Took awhile to blow it all out with compressed air from the radiator side. Just glad I had the sunroof shut!!!! The rest of her went up and over the top of the car and some was stuck around the spoiler.

On another note this wind is NASTY. I put my Tein h-techs and progress swaybars on the car saturday and the weather was awsome. Then saturday night I went to the car show and MAN IT GOT COLD FAST!!! Wind kicked up and it was frozen out there!
