I got tickets to the Saturday(22 Apr) night race, anyone else gonna be there?

 

I would go, but it would take too long to get there making only left turns

I'm not saying that I like the whole getting dizzy while "racing" thing, but you can't deny free tickets, PIR is giving away 700 tickets to Air Force members at Luke AFB, here in Phoenix...so y not go watch some fast cars? even if they only turn one direction.

 

Don't forget your hound dog.

 

My wife and I will be there, but only for the Busch race. Her company sponsors one of the drivers so I will be spending time in the hospitality tent drinking and eating. I can't wait!

 

Let me dig my rebel flag hat and wife beater t-shirt out of the closet and I'll see you there!

 

I am not along to wear my wife beater in the tent, I save that for the stands!

Does anyone have any extra tickets for the Busch race we might be able to buy?
my wife wants to take the youngest boy to the race. he is a total motorhead and we thought the Busch race might not be as crazy. We have never been to a Nascar event so any hints would be good.

If your son is a motorhead, take him to some NHRA drag races. Once you feel the power of a Top Fuel rail or Funny Car, you never forget it.

 

He is has been to the NHRA and loves it. He goes to supercross every year but never been to Nascar..

You can buy tickets for the Busch race at teh gate that day if need be. The Busch race never sells out.

Hint, go early if you dont want to drive the really long WAY and you want to park within a mile of the track. We live down the street from the track and wont go the long way

 

Chad - how early would you suggest and is it a parking issue that you are avoiding or a route issue when you say "the long way"

To tell u the truth, with it being a night race, I dont know when they shutting the road down. Anything after 1 would be late though, I would think

 

anybody else going? we could all roll in together early to beat the traffic and have a party in the parking lot or something
