I need a date.
I have two tickets to the Red Hot Chili Peppers concert tonight.
I just don't have anyone to go with.
They are suite tickets. The concert is at Glendale Arena and starts at 7:30, gates open at 6:30 so I'd want to get there around then.
Email me at jreneeci@tmail.com or catch me on AIM at jreneeci.

The show was great. RHCP were awesome. They have good skills.
I got there pretty early and sat in the car waiting for my friend to show up. There were quite a few xB's in the parking lot, one was hosting a tailbox party.
As soon as my friend arrived and we started walking into the complex it started pouring so we got lucky in that aspect.
Our first stop, of course, was the "cocktail" stand where my $14 "double" Captain and Coke consisted of barely a shot of Captain and far too much ice and coke in what appeared to be one of those complimentary plastic cups you'd find in some Holiday Inn.
I was disappointed yet not surprised.
This was about the time we contemplated running to the closest Wal-greens to buy a few of those tiny bottles of liquor and smuggling them inside my friend's ginormous breasts. The pouring rain was the biggest deterrent to that.
We then take the world's slowest elevator to the suite floor and find our room. After contemplating buying some $40 corndogs we decide it would be best if we sat down as the opening act was about to start. BAD IDEA. They were terrible! I mean, their performance was okay but we just weren't into the music. The lead guy was jumping around like a loon and throwing the mic stand which was mildly entertaining at best. We had no idea what this guy was singing about, the only thing we heard and understood out of the entire set sounded like "pull your dick out". So we were bobbing along shouting "PULL YOUR DICK OUT" the rest of their performance and pondering exactly how much play the uber hip saxaphone and maraca players get compared to the drummer and freak-of-the-week lead singer.
Finally the show starts and they play a couple of their newer songs which I enjoyed. After 3 or 4 songs I decide to head down to the concession area to pick my sister up a souvenir or two and to my dismay they are sold out of pretty much everything I wanted.
So I head back up to our suite and enjoy the concert some more before we decide to join our friend who is also at the show down on the floor. We end up getting a pretty sweet spot near the stage for the rest of the show.
They ended up doing an encore and played Under the Bridge which I thoroughly enjoyed as well as a few more songs until it was just the two guitar guys left onstage battling it out.
At one point, their guitar-ing was so intense and they were standing so close together we were just waiting for the moment where they both throw down their guitars and start dry humping brokeback style. But alas, that moment never came.
Anywho, it was a great concert and also my first!
FIN
Work is rather dull today. Sorry for the long post.
