I was on Randode's website and I'm thinkin' those cold cathode lighting kits are pretty sweet, but I'm not exactly sure what color I want. My car is a BCP and I was thinking either red or white would look pretty sweet. What do you all think?

 

i've got white ones on my white xb...I think it looks cool but other people make fun of them lol

 

Well that's not very nice. I'm sure it looks awesome! So you're saying there probably won't be very votes for white? White was actually my first choice, then I saw the red and thought that might look pretty sweet also, and with the bcp color I can't think of many other colors other than red or white that would look decent. Maybe purple? The car is kinda purple-y but not really, and green would remind me of Christmas.

Color choice is a personal preference really. People like one color over others and with the interiors being the way they are dark in color. You can really choose any color and u will be just fine...

I see green, blue, white, red, purple, pink and orange at the meets. Prolly doesnt help, but hey at least u know there are a lot of options for ya

 

I have blue in my BCP xB and I am doing the cold cathodes in blue also, I think blue is a nice blend with the BCP. I would Say blue, Yeah I make fun of nicks All The Time. he coulda used flash lights

 

Really? The first meet I go to, I may have to have you show me that. I can't picture in my head how the blue would look with the bcp. Thanks for the input, I never even thought of blue as an option!

I will be at the show on saturday, look for the BCP with the big chronic sticker on the back if you make it to that event if not I am sure u will see me soon

 

I have all blue cathodes, blue LEDs in the cup holders, and a blue underbody kit. If you want it too look good, blue always does, but if you want to look different and stand out a bit, maybe try white or one of the other colors.

 

Your best bet would be to come to Randode's show on Saturday. There will be a ton of Scions there with plenty of mods for you to check out. Don't worry about not having your car yet. It'd be great to meet you. You seem like you will fit right in!

man i wish i could make it saturday. ok so my suggestions would be go with red or purple. my friend has a bcp and she did red leds in her guages and center console and it goes pretty well with the car. so i think red cathodes would look good as well. that and i am biased cause i got the red cathodes from randy too. my second choice would probably be purple for the bcp. imo white cathodes are too plain. why not just drive with your dome light on haha blue is my favorite color and it looks awesome but if you are trying to color match to the car i say red or purple. my 2 pennies.

 

Blue suprisingly works really well with the BCP, I dont think RED compliments the BCP that well. but then again thats my opion.

 

I agree, I've seen red exterior parts on BCP and they looked a little off tome. You may be OK because they are inside and there's not any BCP paint they will be shining on, but it's hard to say. Purple may have the same problem, more of a clash than a compliment. I'd probably go with blue if it was me.
