Default KINETIK batteries are in for SPRING QUAKE

Just got in the mail today the TWO Kinetik HC600 series batteries that will be going to the two winners of the audio system contest winners on Saturday at F1 Race Factory.

I contacted Kinetik couple months ago about this event and they were eager to be involved and work with the Scion community. Just one of these batteries is more powerful than 100 capacitors and will help the bass BOOM and maintain a persons voltage when their bass hits. I have the Kinetik HC1800 under the hood and two HC800 series in the back of my car and have NO voltage problems when i pounding on the system, never have any flickering lights or low bass issues.

Kinetik in an incredible product, even better than Optima. Optima has become the common name for sealed cell batteries just like KLEENEX has become for tissues, you rarely hear someone ask for a tissue but all the time hear someone ask for a Kleenex. Kinetik is hitting the car stereo world hard with their product and really taking over the market. The current DB record is over 180 DB and the batteries used in this vehicle were not Optima.......THEY WERE KINETIK!!!!

these batteries are 850 CCA and 20 Ah in half the size of a red top Optima, lots of power packed into a small package.

No, i just happened to post right after you before you had posted so that was not a reply to your question. If you go to KINETIKPOWER.com they have a calculator that will help you decide which one to get. First you're going to want to measure the battery compartment area to make sure what will fit, my co worker got an 1800 and it won't fit in his Jeep but it will in my tC. You might end up going with a 1400 if the 1800 won't fit which is still plenty of power and WAAAAAY better than factory.

They have measurements for all their products on the website so you will be able to know what will fit and what doesn't.

Way to go Scotie J!

Thanks to KINETIK! We'll get them some coverage on the site for the rest of the year.

is it too late to change what i want to be entered for? Even if I had everything else it'd still be worth it to win it just for those batteries.

Larry, on a xB the Kinetic HC1800 will fits well with my AEM cold air intake. It's slightly larger length wise in the battery tray maybe 2" and a little taller. The only thing you'll need to buy are the longer J hooks. I got mine in NJ for $200, the same price as for what they wanted for the yellow top here. It's a slighty lighter battery + more amps for the size Vs. the yellow top. Normal this battery is only sold at car stereo/electronic stores. Kinetics does have a list of some local store dealers.

But, then again this is not a quick fix if ya running a lot of amperages in your car. Remember the xB alternator is only rated at 80 amps worth of power. Ya may need a high output alternator with a smaller pulley wheel (more rpm) to charge this battery correctly at all drivng speeds. For the dry cell batteries are longer to charge and slower in losing its power.

Everybody do your homework to see what is needed to run a lot of high power amperage in your car. It can add up quick $$
