Well I guess it was Amber and I's turn to be smacked. The car that rear ended me was a 90 Buick Skylark and the driver had no insurance. Lucky us. Us and the kids are okay, no injuries. Here are the pics.

So I guess its a good thing I got this today.

1. Thanks Nick, Yeah he got me pretty good. Didnt seem that hard but plastic only goes so far.

2. Yeah Chris, he said that he will more than likely pay for my new bodykit and for you too paint it. He wants to see what his friend can do first. but I aint just gonna let some idiot paint my car, I only want paint from you. He really has not say. So Oh well.

3. Thanks Scott. I would probably been more ____ed if I saw fiberglass all over the place.

4. Definitly Kyle, maybe when I get the money for Chris and we get started you can come down and help us. I already plan on being as much help to Chris as possible. Be sure to bring some beer. Cant have a day or night with friends and just work.

4. Thanks Brent. Shiot Happens I guess.

Seeing/hearing about stuff like this is never good news!

But, to put a postive spin on it. I'm thinking that it was a sign from forces unknown to hurry up and take the damaged old parts off. And, put the new kit on.

Happy to hear everyone is safe and sound though!!!

No insurance? Did the police issue him a ticket or did he hit you in a parking lot?
From the pic's it looks like it didn't damage the box too bad - no quarter panel
damage. Sorry that it happened tho.

Just be carful with that "Let me see what my guy can do stuff" I got hit in the parking lot of my old apartment complex years ago, ironically by the guy that owns the parking enforcement company. He had insurance, however I guess this happens to him a lot and he didn't want to file a claim, so he was also part owner in a body shop. I had "his guy" fix my BMW and the door never fit correctly and paint had runs in it even after I took it back 3 times....Make sure you have all that guys info and a police report incase you need to take it to the courts...I'll never again not call the cops in an accident.

Yeah, I wont go to any one but Chris to paint my car. I know the quality of work he does, and it'll do. LOL j/k! But he just wants to see if he can get a new rear stock bumper for cheaper than what I a paid for my bodykit.

Take the xb to a couple body shops and have them write up an estimate, bet its close to a grand.... Then he wont hesitate to pay you what you would be asking for.
