Default Logo Design Contest - Win $50.00

I was recently asked if SCIONetics was related to SCIENtology. Twice. I've also been told that others have fielded the same question. Nothing against Tom Cruise and his religion but it's obvious there is a need for a better logo.

Please offer your ideas for the new Scionetics sticker. I'll pay the winner, chosen by me, $50.00.

All I ask is:

1 Your design be suitable for placement on the wind deflector of a tC.
2. Your design leave no doubt that Scionetics is Scion/Car oriented.
3. Your design be scalable to fit in the rear quarterwindows on an xB or xA.
4. Be a member of Scionetics

Scionetics has been called the "un-club" by our members in AZ and I like that because I'd rather be working WITH car clubs than competing with them.

Entries must be digital (not hand drawn) and EPS file format is preferred.

Contest ends April 7th.

Thanks! Any questions, please PM me here or email me: mark@scionetics.com

wow, i never noticed just how bad that car club name screams scientology. "Scionetics" sounds exactly like a mix between "Scientology" and "Dianetics", L. Ron Hubbard's (the creator or Scientology) ideas. Did the person who came up with "Scionetics" realize what they were doing when they came up with the name?

Yes, I did. I figured having the word SCION at the beginning, and having the stickers plastered to Scions, would help people make the leap to Scion and NOT Tom Cruise.

But the connection is kind of still there making it sound like some kind of lifestyle/religion thing which fits perfectly. One thing I learned in traffic engineering class, the average American driver is stupid, so it's not too surprising that some people can't figure it out.

There is a bumper sticker out there. it goes something like. there are 4,324 parts to a car and all it takes is one nut to mess it up.
