Nope the people down here have ruined alot of it. It is very seperated now. If you are not in the same club anymore it seems no one wants to do much. I know Vegas is pretty quiet too though. The whole Scion scene has slowed down as a whole though. Seems once Scion quit paying for alot of the shows people stopped going.

 

We can fix this. We have the technology.

 

why cant we make the scion scene exciting again, kmon people it sometimes feels like we are a dying community here.

 

That is simply NOT accurate! There are more people now than EVER that are enjoying their Scions. They simply do not have time for anyone's agenda, regardless of "whose side" you are on. I regularly attend Scion events because I enjoy the cars(I thought the whole reason we came together was the cars, wasn't it?). If that was the sole reason we came together, differences of opinion would be minimized. As a group, we ALL color outside the lines. As one of my favorite bluesmen(Luther Allison) would so eloquently say, "Leave your egos at the door, and play the blues". Enuf Said!

 

Camelback is doing an event in late Feb and Riverview is planning one for late March or early April.

I know CB would like to get some nice Scions out for their event and Riverview wants to do a car show as part of their event. In fact, if anyone wants to help plan the Riverview event please speak up.

It would be nice to see things active again.

 

I can help with the Riverview event for sure since it is right up the street from the shop. Just let me know Mark.

Kirby! Would be great to see you guys again. I'm out of the car business but, now that I'm finally settled into my new job, I'd like to see things get going again.

My job is WEIRD tho... I work monday thru friday, 8-5. Kinda freaky to me still.
