If I wanted to get a seat moved back a few inches to allow for more leg room... who in the Valley could do this?

Let me rephrase...

I know someone that wants to move the driver's seat backward to create 2-3 more inches of legroom.

Not looking for a hack job. Want safety to be factored in.

 

Actually I was told the backseats are easily removable. If that's true how do I remove the seats? Sorry don't mean to hijack your thread. Just curious.

 

Mark let me get this straight......They are wanting to move the front seats back a little?? or the back??... when I originally read this a few days ago I think I misunderstood and thought they wanted the back seat farther back. Thinking about this now I am sure that there could be a way to design a bracket that bolts to the original bolt pattern and then having a new mounting brackets/some sort of stud of that the seat can bolt too. It may take a little trial and error with some some fabrication. But It can be done.

I agree. Randy should be able to hook you up.

 

I dont think it would be to hard.. Just a matter of looking at it and maybe welding some new brackets to the seats. I would need to look at a xB to see for sure. I will look at one tomorrow and let you know.

 

I also would be interested in doing the same (for the front seats only).
