Default MTcX is BACK FROM ASIA! ALL PICS NOW ON PAGE1!

MTcX PICS FROM ASIA

I will post a few pics here a day when I can and then when I get back i'll share all the awesome photos I'm taking, think of these as the cliffnotes

DAY 1

Visiting a dealer in Macau

China dealer with JACKHAMMER on display

Right side drive Lancer EVO getting a kickass MTX system installed...more pics on this later

And I wasnt kidding about the amenities while out in the city

DAY 2

This hotel is only $40 american and is AMAZING, I'll have more pics of it later

Traffic here is insane

Spotted a guy sleeping in his Ferrari while at a Petrol station off the freeway into a city

Just me with the city behind me along Car alley where there are a ton of stores just for cars and car audio, mostly wholesale though

Despite the horrible storm I thought this was a nice pic

It's funny, he was smiling plenty until I put him in front of my camera

Day 3

Teaching my first class in China

Class year book photo :-p

Actual asian Cruisine, luckily they found a beef dish I can eat that isnt weird

One of the options on the menu is LIVE snake

The Chinese are very efficient at moving objects

Fishing for lunch today

Preschool kids at play, once they saw me they ran over and were so excited i knew some Chinese and kept asking me to talk to them in english so they can practice their english themselves. This was very cool to experience

Tallest bridge in ALL of Asia

Daughter of our #1 dealer, she was so adorable. Her parents asked me to give her american name since its common for americans to get a chinese name. I gave her the name Stephanie because I always thought it was a beautiful name so her american name is Stephanie Leng

One of our Number one China dealers

This is a very awesome river and bridge by my hotel, the pic doesn't do it justice

DAY 5

Sherrif Scotty J gonna clean up the streets of CHINA :-p

Nothin like KFC for Thanksgiving

One of many other dealers I met while in China

THE BEST meal since I've been here, they know now what I like to eat so everything ordered I was able to eat and enojyed fully.

The security door to patio at company apt, looks like it belongs on a bank vault

The HUGE ___ patio which is like 20 stories up at least

Shots from the balcony

DAY 6

DAY 7

Day 8

Day 9

Day 10

Day 11

My Thailand APT

Thai airport

My new hotel, simply amazing

Day 12

View from my hotel window

Mall next to hotel in Malaysia

Day 13

Notice the lobby is ABOVE and BELOW floors, this was a hotel built into an escavation so some rooms are underground sort of.

Day 14

HONG KONG HOTEL ROOM

Day 15

HOME SWEET HOME

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I was recently offered a position within MTX to go overseas and be a trainer and teach classes for our asian distributors and dealers on our product and proper installation for car audio. I of course accepted and have been discussing the position with them for the past couple months. I didnt want to post anything until I was sure and knew more details.

I am scheduled to leave on November 17th and will be gone for about 3 weeks giving myself a chance to get used to my surroundings and teach a 3 hour class and an all day 9 hour class. My first trip there will be more for gathering information on what
kind of info is needed over there and proper training methods. Once I get back I prepare for the next time I go back which will be sometime in January but this time it will be for TWO MONTHS and then i will be back in AZ for 2 months and then go back again for two months and keep doing that for however long they ask me to. Technically i will probably only be in the states for 6 months out of the year in 2007 if things go the way they planned for me.

When I was first offered I was a little concerned about living arrangements and so forth but they told me not to worry. I will be living in the company penthouse condo along with a live in cook, a driver , and company vehicle so I dont have to worry about getting a license or getting lost and I dont have to be scared about eating the food over there.

I will of course take lots of pictures and will still have internet access over there to post them as well as still fulfill my mod duties. My car while I am gone will probably remain in the garage the first time I go out there but when I start going over there for 2 months at a time it might be going in the MTX showroom to keep clean and get detailed every once in a while. If there is a big show that comes up while I am away I plan on arranging either HSXtC (my gf) or someone else I trust to take my car to the event.

So far here is a the itenerary that I have been given with the list of places I will be going, below that I will post a few pics of where I will be staying and the things I will get to see. I hope all my friends will be make it out this weekend to the big party we're having.

TOKYO
BEIJING
Zhuhai
Guangzhou
Macau
Hong Kong
Bangkok
Kuala Lumpur

Yes I get to land in Tokyo which by way of the crow is about 1 hour or less away but with traffic there its hours from it. I as born in FUSSA Japan but doubt I will be going there. Once I go back for a two month trip I'm sure I will take a vacation while I'm over there and check out some tourist spots and spend at least a week in TOKYO.

You can buy the skylines real cheap there. But you can not get them back for a decent price.. LOL.. My buddy is over there and they sell for about 3-4 grand. But takes alot to get them here.
Congrats Scott.

Scott that is awesome!! I can say that I would like to have that opportunity to do this. It would be a blast. The culture alone is something that I have always wanted to experience. I know Harman Motive group, the guys love the Asian markets, in fact, it is hard to get them to come back to the states.

Oh, I expect that I will be the first on the list for a skyline,

Congratulations on the awsome opportunity. I hope that someday I will get to travel to Asia also, as I think that environment would be a very different and interesting experience. Hope that everything goes well and you have a good time.
