Default My car was stolen today.

I think I did a very very bad thing when I let my wife take the tC to the store yesterday. Ever since she has driven it, all she want to do is drive it more, and I am afraid I will never see it again!! LOL

No seriously (may get long winded here) I am going through some "I want my younger years back" times, and I recently bought her a mini-van for us and the kids. So she was feeling a little guilty, and said i should get something fun to drive. Well I immediatly fell in love with the tC, and I think she was in the thinking of more of a Passat type car. Nice four door sedan. Well I am done with the 4 doors, and wanted something more sportier.

Any ways she refused to drive it, let alone ride in it at the dealership. I begged her to drive it, but she refused. Well now after the store yesterday, and multiple "mysterious" errands today I feel I have created a new tC lover. I just want her to step away from the car thats all. It's mine dammit!!

dude, the same thing happened with my wife and my xB. It seems that she wants to drive it more and more. She blames it on the kids wanting to ride in it. She has a really nice car (Mazda 6) but I'm not giving it up, she can't have it. Now........she can trade in her 6 and get a tC if she wants to. That way I could have the best of both worlds!

Default Stolen cars

My wife had to have a Magnum when they came out and that was cool with me cause I love driving it, BUT after I got the xB and let her drive it she always wants to BORROW it cause it's fun to drive!!!

When I got the box it was just for work cause I drive almost 3000 miles a month and it gets great mileage, now that it modded I let her drive it more cause it doesnt like the dirt roads I sometimes have to travel on
So after the Magnum is paid off she gets a TC

My wife won't drive my tC. Too low, too load. She would much rather be in her Explorer.

So your wife would rather drive your tC than her minivan? Go figure.

My wife thought my xB was ugly when I first bought it. I even got a standard transmission so she could not drive it.

But I've noticed over the past few weeks she keeps coming up with excuses to take it out and learn how to drive stick.

I think I'm going to have to buy her a tC later this year just to get her to leave my xB alone.

i understand you all. sandy liked to take my car out everywhere that i finally convinced her to get her own. and that took care of that. now instead of putting miles on my car on the weekend i drive hers and leave mine parked. lol!!

My wife drove mine for the first 3 or 4 months we had it, but then got a minivan. My kids would rather ride in the van because they don't have to sit next to each other and my daughter can turn on a light in the back to read.

My wife drives the box when she has to go somewhere at night, she still likes driving it, even after lowering, etc.

haha yea that is how my girlfriend was... afraid to drive it cause it is so low. and she said if she hurt it that i would probably kill her so she refused to. but then i got her to drive it one day. and the other morning she took her daughter to school in it and said she loved it. which is why i am trying to get her to buy an rs2!

My husband I think would cut off a limb to drive mine...he has a Grand Cherokee, and while it's a nice vehicle, it's not nearly as fun to drive as the tC. I've had the car for about a month give or take and he's driven it twice...and I was in the car both times. I make sure the doors are locked, the keys are in my pocket and the spare keys are hidden Maybe I'm a bad wife, but he was the same way when he got the Jeep!

Whew! I am glad I am not the only one. I told her today that I don't mind her driving it....just don't get to used to it! She's a good wife so I cannot complain to much.

My wife drives my box every now and then...but when it was in the shop for repairs I had a tC, and I could not keep her out of it.
