then I think you need to go with silver or or chrome/polished. I don't think black, gunmetal, or hyperblack would look good on the SRP.

I have to agree with brent on this one.....But I think the gold contrast would look sick. Don't think I've seen anyone in the valley with SRP and Gold wheels

You see I was not too sure on the color of the rims for my box ether.. but Chad kept saying your going to love the way it looks on your ride. I was looking for polished or Chrome wheels for my Camo.

Ya but sometimes the youngsters don't want to listen to an OG.

For the most part. Most xBs and Scions have a flat look so chrome tends to stand out like a sore thumb. Not all of them, but most. I do not think a chrome wheel would look good on SRP. Decissions, decissions, decissions. Hmmmmm. Some chrome maybe, but not all chrome.

I would have a hard time getting my wife to say "Yes" to gold rims. Other things maybe.

Anyway, back on topic. I think the gold/bronze look is different and it fits the SRP, but my wife thinks it looks ghetto and to young. Maybe you guys could work on her this weekend.

Again I wouldnt say I was right. More like Rj is kind of dull so why not some dull wheels to go with his personality

Serious, Coming from the Suby community where gold wheels are very popular and common on colors such as burgundy. I have grown very fond of them on cars. The Mrs. doesnt like them either so we didnt ever get her a set for the BRP which looks just as good w/ Gold IMO.

Good luck to you dagarhart with your choice. One thing I will mention about chrome. They might not last and stay chrome. From years of detailing and seeing cars I'm used to seeing them flake and fade.

I agree with you on the chrome. I do not think I will go in that direction. Chrome is a pain and chips way to much and to easy. Plus like you said, with the fading and detailing. Gold is the hard sale though.

Chrome is alot heavier too. Slower take offs and longer stopping distances. Go with a fairly light wheel if possible.

I still say GOLD. I am just not a big fan of too much chrome on a Tuner......Sometimes the saying less is more. Now don't get me wrong there are some out there that look great with chrome. I need to find you a pic of a BCP with gold wheels, so you can see the contrast. I know its not SRP but I still think it would be amazing.

lip is played out

(that made me sound cool didn't it? I actually read that on here somewhere)

It's a style thing, trying to make it look like you have wider wheels than you do. Get what you like, not what other people think is cool or thought was cool 3 weeks ago.
