Default My son Braedon and Make-A-Wish pics/MORE PICS ADDED PAGE 2

Ok, well most of you know about my family's terrible journey back in April of 2000...I've talked to many and told you our story...I thought I would show you some pics of what life was like back then when my then perfectly normal healthy 5 year old son was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor and only given a 15% chance of survival...With the upcoming Make-A-Wish car show, I found it fitting to show you the joy that the MAW delivered on that wonderful day...Braedon's wish was a Harley Davidson Motorcycle...Well the MAW granted him his wish and his wish is still on going...Braedon was officially honored into the Harleys Owner Group, Chapter 93 and is currently the youngest member in the world! They also do a Motorcycle Ride in his name every year during Arizona Bike Week called Wednesday's Ride for Wish Kids...Braedon has come long way since then and we are very thankful for the time we have with him...Braedon is now 12 years old and has several deficits but he strives to do the best that he can...

Everyone please remember that life is so precious and we do not know what life has in store for us any given day...Enjoy each minute and take time out of every day to tell the ones you love just how much you care for them...These pictures mean so much to us and I hope you enjoy them!

FYI, the reason he looks so HEAVY is because they had him on high doses of steroids and at this time he was going through radiation...Radiation was 6 weeks long @ 5 days a week!

Delivery Day! Braedon's wish angels from Make-A-Wish:

Braedon's shiny new red Harley:

Braedon with his new found Motorcycle Gang...Some of the HOG Chapter 93 members:

Braedon smiling with a BIG thumbs up:

Braedon leading his Harley Owner Group Chapter 93 around the block/Very touching moment:

And of course the cake:

3 months later, Braedon gives back to the MAW...Presents a check for $5,000.00...Money he raised from family and going door to door:

Braedon presenting the check @ the MAW center located at 7st/Northern:

damn you, you made me cry.

hope everything works out for you, and MAW is truly great, and the harley davidson is even greater for taking the time to do this, since they didnt have to.

my mom passed away due to cancer, so it always touches me.

^^^How true is that...My grandmother (dad's mom) was battling cancer at the same time my son was going through his cancer...Unfortunately, she lost her battle...

Thanks for sharing your story and pictures. When we think that things are not going too well there are reminders like this that things are not so bad after all. Best wishes!!!

thank you Tim for sharing that, it was does show you how fragile life is. The "fire it up" show was my first time meeting Braedon and I was very impressed with how he introduced himself and i truly enjoyed my conversation with him.

I hope to see him and the rest of your family at future meets, you guys are all awesome and its very obvious how supportive you are of one another.

Thanks for sharing Tim. That was really nice of you and your family to do. If everyone is like it makes me think what can I do to help or take a moment to give and help others make their wish come true.
