Ok, You all know Chris (aka Mooneyez).
He has been drooling on getting the 3.0 for sooo long now and they have announced the release of this new limited edition (2200 of them) but, he keeps going
back and forth on trading in his 2.0 on the 3.0 etc etc etc..

.. Here is my Question.

Should he just do and get it over and trade in his 2.0 for the 3.0 OR
Hold onto his Yellow box. but WHY?
let's make this fun! giving Chris a hard time too is the fun part..

I think you he should take the money he would lose by trading in his 2.0 for the 3.0 and put it into the 2.0 if he wants to stand out more.

Sell the 2.0 privately and upgrade to the 3.0

 

besides having a newer version, i dont really see any advantages with the 3.0 or is it just me?

 

Give CBS the opportunity to see what they can give Chris for the 2.0, before he goes to all the trouble of selling a car private party.

 

those would all be pretty neat to have from the factory.. i want to see these "fresher wheel covers"

 

Bryan, I wanted to talk to you about that.

 

I would hate to see the yellow box go, especially now that it has the racing stripes. (even if they are on the wrong side )
I know it's the bright metallic paint color, not the other stuff. I say get the sparkly green one, especially since it comes with fancy new hubcaps.

 

UM, DON'T DO IT!!!!
For one, you would probably get a nicer alarm that you would have picked out yourself, hmm hmm compustar from all the buzz i here(mark<------).

Plus, think about the first edition, soon as the second came out, everyone traded, so you hardly see the first edition around, and the same will probably happen with the 3rd. Also, why would you want a color that comes close to replicating the randode mobile, i mean c'mon, randode, nuff said about that.

I wouldn't do it mainly because the possible loss on the trade, the interior and exterior goodies could be better and cheaper somewhere else, and you just had awesome looking vinyl put on. I mean, what else can you ask for?

 

Keep the 2.0 and put the money into it that you spend upgrading to the 3.0 like a
Giant MOONEYES dacal and a lifesize Rat Fink sticking out of the top complete with extra long shifter and an 8 Ball shift **** !!!!!!

Chris hang on to your present box -- it's way to cool to get rid of dude. The mooneyes
decal would look cool but a ratfink sticking out of the roof , well people might think
you work for truly nolan and want a quote on some bug spray

Joey is right. He made this decision last fall. Get it over with. Trade the 2.0 into CB, they will give you a great deal, plus save you the hassle of selling the vehicle on your own. Also, take advantage of AZ's insanely good tax deal - where you only pay sales tax on the new car less the value of the trade in. I have NEVER seen an advantage for a dealer like that.
