Default New xB owner - First Mod Suggestions?

Hey everyone.

I just picked up my new 08 xB last night from Bryan at Camelback Toyota. Everything ROCKED getting it done, he seriously made the process painless (it was way easier to by a xB than it was a $2000 scooter from the thieves at Town and Country ).

Just dropping a line hello, I've been reading the boards for about a year. Hope to get some photos up soon, and get out there with you all.

Any recommendations of some "must-do" mods off the bat are totally welcome. I am already on top of rims, tires, HIDS, and some lighting from Randode.

Cheers.

Get a clear bra for that huge front end. There is 42% more paint surface on the xB2 than First gen.

Congrats on the purchase and welcome to the group. Glad to hear Bryan at Cb did it again. Another painless transaction

Thanks so much! It seriously was an awesome experience. Sucks I have to work all day today instead of playing with my new car.

congratulations - i had a chance to ridein one today and couldn't believe it was quicker than the tC. Suhweeeeeeeeeeeeet.

The only odd thing I can't figure out is the single back up light. Kinda interesting...

But - none the less - cool. just put an HID light in there! haha.

It can't be quicker than a TC. It's got the same engine and it is a box. Not aero dynamic and it's got at least 200 pounds on the TC. ......

That's it...I am done with TC's.....I'm going to go get a Kia. It goes 147 MPH. The 101 Cameras have photos...

Russ, I would do rockblocker and then HID's in that order. Especially with because the paint is black.

I'm happy to see you so excited about the Scion scene and your ride!

Russ - I got your e-mail and replied. I have HID kits for the 08 xB for $170. Lemme know when you want to meet up so I can give it to you. The installation is pretty straight forward and I have 4300k, 5k, 6k, and 8k.

Thanks!

Clifford
