So, this afternoon I decide I'm gonna head over to my buddy's apartment complex and sit by the pool, relax, and filly my belly with good food and even better beverages. Havin a great time when the sun starts to go down. We load up and go inside. Watchin TV and I get a call from another buddy thats on his way over. He says, "Hey man, somebody hit your car." This is a boy that cried wolf story cause they all know how much I love my car, and they always attempt to pull pranks like this. So, I go along with the joke and start walking towards my car just to make sure...

And sure enough, my buddy and some other guy are standing right behind my car looking at the basketball sized dent in the driver side of the rear bumper right under the taillight.

I look around for the car that hit me and there isn't one. Sure enough....It's a HIT AND RUN. The other guy heard a loud bang in the parking lot and went down stairs.The guy saw a blonde hair girl in a red ford ranger extended cab stop look back at my car out the window and bolted. Now, he didn't have the point of view to get the license plate but he did at least know the truck type. He also said she lives there or at least goes there fairly often to swim or party or whatnot. Cops came and I filed a report. They're "looking" for her but its tough when they have no plate number.

So basically I'm gonna be patrolling that parking lot in my buddies' cars for the next couple days. I can't wait until I see her lil red truck parked in that lot, and I get to hear the whole story while she tells it to the cops. I'll post pictures when the sun's up tomorrow.

People who hit and run are nothing more than animals. Sorry to hear about the damage, but hopefully she'll get hers soon enough.

 

My first thought was that your tent had a massive hole in the roof and it was to far to Cloudcroft for another. j/k thought you could use a little humor right now.

I hope you find that sleeze ball and prosecute to the fullest extent of the law.

sorry to hear that bud. I hate hit and runners! I only hit a car once when it was parked and I Notified the owner immeditly. Because I would want someone to do the same for me (fat chance) again sorry to hear baout it.

 

I Say you take a bat to every RED ford range in the complex in two weeks. I say two weeks, because she prob won't come back for that long! Let me know if you need help!

 

Damn that sucks, happened to me a few years back with my Dodge Dakota. I was at the movies and I came out after the movie was over and there was a huge dent in the driver side door/front fender, couldn't even open the door up . Never found out who did it, I'm just assuming someone didn't know how to park and nailed my truck.

 

Oh man I am sorry that sucks Someone did that to me also, same exact place... drivers side rear bumper cover. Hit and run. I am SOOO ____ed about it. I think I know who did it and am looking for them and there car. Hope I am wrong. Anyways time for new paint on mine.. just scratched it up and tore the paint / chipped it up.

dont feel bad i had a drunk person back into my car at a bar one night in the parking lot and of course i was inside the bar when it happend so i have no description of the vehicle that hit me or anything this is the second tail gate that ill be replacing it sucks, i know how u feel man

I have an update...I went to the apartment complex last night and drove around. I found 2 red extended cab/stepside Ford Rangers. I took down their license plates but couldn't stop to check them out due to traffic. Later on, I walked around and found one more ranger. Their back bumper was destroyed and there was a lil BCP paint on their bumper. I called the cops and apparently the owner saw me calling. She took off again. So, the cops are looking for her right now, but at least I know have a license plate number. I am a little bit happier...

Sorry Kahuna...everyone will know about the event once I get back to Roswell in a little less than 10 days...

 

Man WTF is peoples problems now adays........ don't they know you f*ck up someones nice ride they ARE going to catch you and make you pay for it..... she just made it worse by running........... Did you call David and get him to pull some of his connections ?
