Hey all, I'm relatively new here (have only had my FM tC for just over 3 weeks) and I can't even begin to explain what happened to my car without saying she was blonde. Here's a reference pic of the culprit (in an unrelated speeding incident) to demonstrate my point:



There my car is, sitting unsuspectingly in the driveway next to my roommate's car at about 9:30 PM Sunday night. About this time she decides to pull into the garage to load some supplies in. Between parking in the driveway and pulling forward 20 feet into the garage she somehow manages to take about 3 inches of paint off my front bumper.

The worst part: She didn't even know she did it. I saw her parked in the middle of the garage and jokingly asked if she hit my car. About this time she turns bright red and says "holy $&@&, is your car out there, 'cause I thought I felt something." Naturally all my paint was scraped off where her fender hit it.

Too dark to get decent pictures (and I'm not even sure the bumper is the only thing damaged yet), but how much am I (her rather) looking at paying? Could they repaint the bumper or do I need a new one?

It's just too funny to be mad at her... so far anyway.

 

i'd be mad at a girl. you should atleast get some of her goods and services.

SAME thing happened to me!!!! But it was my roomates friend who was drunk and scraped my rear bumper a bit. I wasn't too bad so i just used some touch up paint from Wally World. Still ticks me off though because i knew who did it but she was too drunk to remember. I hate drunk drivers!!!

sorry Tim, but if a girl that looks like that, hits my car, is willing to pay for it, and lives with me even for eye candy alone......YES...yes you would be a moron for getting a new roommate.
