Phoenix area: Road question
Head out to Tortilla Flats, around canyon lake. Before the road drops to a dirt road, there are some great curves and scenery. Don't f*ck up though, there are some corners that mean certain death if you go in too hot.
Take US 60 East to Idaho Rd. Go North and follow 88. You'll run right into the curves and canyon lake area.
If you want the best ride and have about 8 hours to kill, go to Jerome via Wickenburg, Yarnell (fun turns, look out for cops with stop watches at the top of the mountain!!), Prescott via 89A. Awesome turns, canyons, views, etc. Just don't die from driving too fast up there. It gets real tight in some areas.

I've driven the 89A. It's effin gnarly to say the least. It's only fun to carve for maybe 15 mins, then after that if you were doing it right you had about 3 close-calls and you've had enough.
Except it doesn't end in 15 mins, lol. You're going to be driving the road for another few hours, through twisties the whole time.
I've never been carsick before in my life, and I made myself car sick on the 89A. Too crammed up to be a real fun road IMO
