i didnt get so lucky...... i got pulled over by Glendale PD and got a criminal traffic ... court dec. 14

 

Oh no! Criminal ticket, what for?

 

well i was @ the light on 99th and I-10

and the cop pulled me over saying i was going 63 in a 40 zone.

is that possible.

i slowed down @ the lgiht. cause it was red, and then i went.

the most i probably hit was like 45 mayve 50

im sure he thought i was going fast cause my exhaust with the VROMMMMMMMMm

 

Sounds to me like he used the "pace" method...Follows you at a certain speed for a certain distance maintaining the same interval/distance between you and him...He wrote you a criminal ticket? Man he could of atleast been nice wrote you the civil violation...What department pulled you over?

 

idk what method he used. but he got me doing 63mph.

They're like that in Glendale, the one place I NEVER speed. My wife and a friend of mine have both been given tickets for 6 mph over.

 

for going over 6mph they gave u a ticket. god damn they have no lives over there.

 

Glendale has to make revenue somehow.

If you haven't used your traffic school yet, now would be the time. That way you do not get hit by insurance too. If you have, you are stuck. You can always try going to court and hope the officer does not show up.

Glendale may require you go to court to plead guilty or not. Not sure. Never got a ticket in Glendale.

You might want to call Glendale and ask them about traffic servival school. You should be able to go to school every 2 years. Unless the rules have changed.

I did not think of that either. Well, hopefully he will not show up to court. I doubt it, but you can hope.

 

Your right criminal ticket = no school the judge will decide your fate. Had it been a civil ticket, traffic school is do able. Believe me...I know!!! I have class this coming Sunday morning...LOL For some strange reason the cops in Kingman don't like it when you do 68 in a 40mph zone (Highway 17). I got very lucky cause he had every right to write a criminal ticket.

good luck man. i try to be really careful about tickets - been arrested before for going too fast - that was 6 years ago though.

sometimes it get outta hand though.

Dang, that sucks! Hope all goes well, My ex got pulled over and cited a criminal ticket for street racing, she batted her eyes and the judge reduced her sentence from 3 months to 5 days in jail. Just be nice to him/her!
