hey everyone,
i would like to extend an invitation to all of you to come check us out @ www.SCIKOTICS.com , and to hear some background info about us.
many of you were at our first event (Scion Showdown) and we hope you had a blast. we plan on doing many similar events in the future. for those of you who didnt get a chance to meet some of us, please feel free to stop by the forum and give us a shout out.
We are (as always) looking to expand our number of members. so, i thought i would throw out some information about the club for those of you who are unaware.
Scikotics is a totally FREE club that everyone can join. no matter age, money, mods or model of scion.
Scikotics was created by Jon Adams (Frankenscion) with the support of his wife in March of 2005 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
By the summer of 2005 Scikotics absorbed an OKC club. A few members attended HeatWave in Austin. From there Houston and San Antonio created chapters.
Thanks to Scion Life and the work of early members, from August of 2005 to March of 2006 11 more chapters were created across the U.S. including DFW, Minneapolis, Seattle, and NY.
As of now, Scikotics has over 25 chapters in 19 states with almost 400 active members... and growing daily.
Although we are a very laid back club, we do have a few rules.
1. You must own a Scion.
2. Don't be an a$$.
3. Try to have monthly meets at the very least.
4. If you decide to change the stickers, you must leave the basic logo (the font) the same.
5. Don't make your chapter into a clique (small, exclusive group of people, as in: I wasn't invited to join their clique.)
there are no membership fees or minimum vehicle requirements. we have no problems with cars that are completely stock. we are a group of automotive enthusiasts who love to have fun while growing as a family every day.
we need people who are motivated and want to see this chapter succeed.
