Phx Scion dealers with the lowest fees
I'm looking to buy a in few months and I was wondering who has the lowest fees on a xD. I'm going to be living in Yuma AZ so I'm trying to find the nearest dealer with the best OTD prices. I guess the other location is the Indio area of CA. I'd likely be ordering it to buy it the way I want it, just incase that makes a difference in the fees.
I don't know what dealers are charging in fees but I've heard the horror stories. If anyone has the info it I'd love to hear it. Thanks up front.

Im not sure how much all the different dealers fees are but tomorrow when I get to work I can post up what are fees are and the others might do the same and you can go from there maybe.
You may also want to take a look at dealerships that have a great customer service. I know for a fact that you can't go wrong with Camelback Scion and Avondale Scion. Both have great salesmen that will take good care of you. Good luck withyour search for you xD.
Everyone is relatively close on the fees. Not sure what horror stories there can really be since every dealer has to have it publicly posted for anyone to see.
Check ours out at www.camelbackscion.com It really comes to customer service and what the dealer can offer you.
If I can help you out with anything please let me know.

I've checked all the websites you guys listed but did not see any info on the fees these dealers charge. I've heard of some dealers adding 4, 5 and 9 hundred dollars profit on to the cost of the car. I'm trying to keep the costs down as much as possible. I'm going to be paying for a big move across the country so money is going to be tight. Avondale and Camelback seem good as far as customer service in Phx. Did any of you buy from them, and if so, what did they charge you in fees.
As Rj pointed out you can read the dealer review section of Scionlife to see what fellow Scion Lifers have said about dealerships here in town.
I would also recommend getting the base model with no options if you want to keep the cost down. In regards to the profit thing some dealers preload parts onto the price of the car which will effect the cost of the car and vary by dealer in some cases. We do not preload here at Camelback. We allow you to add only the options you want to have added and pay for on the car.
If you have any questions please feel free to call me. Im here til 9 pm tonight

As mentioned above, all Scion dealers are forced to sell as a pure price. There will not be any preloaded products on the car that you have to pay for. Even the warranty and aftermarket parts pricing are closely monitored by Scion Corp.
The only thing that isnt controlled is the financing. That is where all dealerships really make there $. If you want to keep the payments down then get your own financing elswhere. + Gap covereage shouldnt be more than $140 to $170 depending on your loan term. I strongly suggest it.
I wouldnt get so hung up on the dealer docs and TTL so much. Your just beating a dead horse with that mumbo jumbo.
Whats a few hundred between friends.
Hell, That salesman may even cut you a deal on headlamp overlays or direct you to a parts counter person to give you club pricing on parts just for doing business with m.

Sara here...when we started the paper work for our XB we found "hidden" charges.
For example underbody coating$$$$ VIN etched in windows $$$$ there was something else forgot now
but we complained because these items where not clearly disclosed on the window sticker.
The dealership just added on to make a few more $$$ on the sell.
They did remove the cost due to their aggrement with Scion.
That is one thing nice about Scion - they fix the price so it should
be the same everywhere. But you still have those dealers out there
that add-on first, and expect you to pay.
Unless you plan to drive all the way into Phoenix to have your Scion serviced,
I would say look first what is closer to you. Let them know what it is you are
looking for (and the unwanted add-ons) If they really want you for a customer
they will make it happen. Also check out the dealerships in Tucson.
They may be closer to Yuma (gas is close to $3 per gallon now).
Good luck in your move. Welcome to SUNNY AZ
(Rocky Point and San Diego are two great places to run away to for some fun.)
Hope to see you at some of the events.

Keep in mind you do get a small tax credit when filing your taxes on large purchases. This only helps if you itemize.

All I have to say is stay away from Bell Rd. Toyota/Scion. All their cars have add ons already. Also, when I was looking to get my tC, they started off with that whole $5k down, $500 a month bs. I told the sales manager to shove it and went to Camelback. They took good care of me there.
