I was asked by MTX to put my car into a sanctioned event called USAC that will be going on in Tucson on May 7th which is a Sunday. My car is going BACK into the shop tomorrow for the next two weeks to be done in time, hopefully it will be this time. Anyone that goes to this show will get a first look at what it looks like completed.

I will post more information about this event once it is made available to me which should be in the next couple of days.

I was going to wait till the event but since it isn't going to be done then anyway here is a sneak peak at what is done so far..

anyone is welcome to come up with me and head back together, i don't have the times yes of when i'm supposed to be there. I'm looking into if I can have other Scions in our group depending on what equipment is in their car so we can have a nice presence there. I'll keep everybody posted

 

If MTX is willing to donate some stereo eqiupment to me I will go. Hahaha, j/k, cant wait to see the finished product.

I've seen the work in progress and can't wait to see it completed...Hope they get it done in time...

 

well i dropped it off tonight for a two week period so we'll see what happens from here. There is a lot that still needs to be done and knowing me it will never be "done" since there are many ideas i have. Im hoping at this point to have the door panels, rear panels, box, and hatch panels done.

 

What event is it? Whos store is it at down there?

 

the event is going to be held at a Circtuit City store I guess, i still don't have any other details yet

hey scott! how's the sound system coming along in your ride?

 

really don't know, i'll be going by there on Sat to check it out. The shop is 50 miles away from my house so I can't really pop in easily to check it out.

ok the event is going down at Circuit City at Broadway and Craycroft. Registration begins at 11 and i need to be setup by then so i'll be there by 10. The competition starts at noon if you just plan on attending to view the sound offs.

 

yay i'll be able to come down for a couple hours before I have to go to work....... i'm kinda looking foward to this... hope I can wake up that early though
