Amber and I are giving this non smoking thing a try. we started last night. It will save around $250 a month if we dont smoke.
My mom is quiting too, so we are all a support system for each other.

Here's what I did when I decided to quit smoking.
I bought 3 packs, opened them all at the same time.
I left one in the car, one at home and the other I carried with me.
I then minimized my smoking to one cig a day, usually after dinner.
That made the pack I had with me last three weeks.
At the same time, the other two packs are sitting open and getting very stale.
Once I got past the pack I had with me, I had to move on to one of the other two packs.
Ever tried smoking Month-old stale ___ smokes?
Haven't smoked since, and I still have a pack and a half left.
Good luck!
You just have to convince yourself that you can't buy a new pack until you get past those last two packs.

Good Luck. I quit 10 years ago and it was the toughest thing I've ever quit. And I used to DO IT ALL!!
Patches helped, but it was the expense that finally made me quit. When your monthly smoking bill = a car payment.......

I've been off the "go fast" for almost 8yrs now.
If I can do it, YOU CAN!!
The only drawback with quitting smoking is i'm now 40lbs heavier!!
Good luck!! It was the last of my vices and the toughest to quit.
I guess I've replaced my addictions with things like modding my XB!
