Hey everyone!!! I was driving around looking in all the local paint shops today.. looking for "Mirage" paint... with all the base coat.. and clear coat ... anyway. the lowest price was $230.00!! for 3 quarts (1 of each, B.C., C.C. , AND the paint) :O . .anyway it is for my dash pieces (A pillar, B pillar, and C pillar) . . I than went to just see how much spray paint was.. at "Pep Boys Autmotive" and found the exact paint "Mirage, clear coat, and base coat" for $20.00! . . but the only thing is.. its red, than turn to purple,. than blue, than orange, than brown.. and I want green/blue/purple/brown.. and do you think that this paint will work on the pillar's? . . or do uy think it will just chip off sooner or later?? . . and if so.. do any of you know what I can get that wont chip off.. and look "Cheap looking" or tacky?? . . . .Please, I NEED HELP!! :D

the spray paint will chip and flake off sooner than you think. If you are going to do it do it right the first time around, its less of a headache in the long run. The good paint may be more money but it will last longer and give you the look you are after in the end.

the camelion paint is cool as an accent color but not for the whole interior scheme (just my opinion). Painting the silver pieces in the camelion paint wouldnt over do it at all, I think it would look sweet.. Just take your time and dont rush painting it if your doing it your self, make sure the parts are cleaned real well with ivory soap and water before you start to spray.
