Default REAL AMERICAN HEROES ! MUCH PROPS TO CAMELBACK SCION!!!

So I have had my TC for about 4 months now I am in the habit of getting the oil change every 3k. Woke up early on Sat morning, brushed my tuffesses, threw on flip flops and stole my neighbors newspapers. Drove myself to Camelback Scion to get my frist ever oil change!

I was amazed at how much traffic that place has @ 9:00am. I thought there was another meet I missed. I rolled into the service Department and got my self set up. The guy that greeted us was pro from the Start. Walked around my car to make sure it didn't need anything else and looked at my Odometer. He smiled told me about the synthetic blend of oils that Scion uses. That means the car doesnt need an oil change until the 5k(I knew but forgot!). I was pretty impressed. Any other place would have taked my money (First three oil changes are free I know!) and sent me on my way! I was happy not because I didn't have to do it but because I was treated honestly and fair! Just earlier in the week my girl friend and I had a horrible, no good, terrible experience at Camelback Volkswagen just 300 feet over. They were going to charge us $1300 for brakes on a bettle that had over 80% brake pad left! ( I took a look at the car myself after she told me what they wanted!) They were going to rob my girlfriend blind just cuz she doesn't know much about cars!

So this budlight is for your Mr. Service Department Guy whos name I didn't remember over @ Camelback Scion! Thank you being a REAL AMERICAN HERO!!!!

I have bought three cars from Camelback and took delivery of my SCION from Right Toyota. Right treated so bad that Camelback earned my respect and business, that is three cars later at a tune of just over $80K in cars. They have service all my vehicles, even painted and installed the Kaminari body kit on the tC. I think you know who has my vote for doing work.

I had a similar experience with Right Scion. I bought my 2005 xB in 2005 and had a great experience with my sales guy Pat. My mom ended up loving my xB so she decided that she wanted an xA. I took her to Pat at Right Scion last year and we had a completely different buying experience than when I bought my 2005. We kept getting the run around from Right Scion about delivery times, so I had my mom call Camelback Scion. JT took excellent care of my mom. She told him exactly what she wanted, she gave a deposit with her Discover card over the phone and 2 weeks later my mom picked up her 2006 Salsa Red Pearl xA.

I ended up selling my 2005 xB to a local guy and ordered up my 2006 RS3 from Brian and Mark. Perfect Buying Experience!

I ended up taking my buddy Matt to Camelback a couple of months later and he ended up buying a 2006 Toyota 4Runner! Excellent buying experience again! He drove away in less than 2 hours after we stepped foot onto the dealership!

I can't say anything bad about Camelback!

Default Maybe I can help?

I am not in the body shop, but I am in charge of the sales dept. and can definately get involved with this. Please give me a call if your car is not ready on this "promised" day and I will lend a hand! As for the rest of you, THANK YOU ALL FOR THE CONTINUED SUPPORT!

anyway, everyday this week they've promised me "it'll be ready tomorrow, definitely"
how long does it take for a quarter panel and a door skin?
i'm really getting the feeling they're bull$#!tting me
oops! the phone is ringing...it's Camelback Toyota! give me a sec.

oh ok...now the car won't lock and they have to reprogram all the computers in the car?
"It'll be ready Monday, definitely" you say??
I'll believe it when i see it.
This SUCKS.

Maybe they had to order the door skin or found something more behind the dammage that was not seen up front and had to special order that part?
I had a matrix that got hit in the rear panel and they found more dammage than expected, I did take longer due to having to get parts etc.
I am suprised that ether Dustin or Jim have not been that informative. They are usally right on the ball. They do only callbacks on tue and thursdays.
You dont want a rush job.

I understand, especially if it is your only wheels and your in a rental, ew. I would definitely miss my tC also and want it back. The good news is that you will get the car back as if it was brand new. If alignments, parts or other issue come up it will get fixed. They will simply not comprise the work or quality of the work and that may take more time.

Really good to hear, guys...thanks...i needed that.

I've been dealing with Jesse (he's the onsite State Farm rep)

Maybe i need to quit being so ____ed, being that i'm not paying one cent for the repair

The guy that hit me had State Farm insurance so i've been dealing with Jesse the whole time...and if his company was paying for it you would think he'd want it out of there as soon as possible, eh?

i think it's just all these little things going wrong with it thats just making me nervous

it is my baby, and i just hope it looks as perfect as it did before that dude backed into it.

so as of yesterday (Saturday) he said it would be ready Monday and they would even deliver it to my work here in Scottsdale

sorry for the venting yesterday, guys...frustration was kicking in after an entire week of tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow...

p.s. You guys ever meet up at the Pavillions? I live like a block away...and i'd like to see some of your rides...ScottsdaleTC, your car is SICK.

Not a problem, always here to help and you should always feel you can pick the phone up and make one to the dealer.

Thanks for the props, if you think the car is sick, want to guess who painted and installed the body kit? Camelback SCION body shop.
