At least I think it's my A-Frame Is it?











As you can see the lip on my rim rubs along the frame. Is this doing any harm to the frame? The old rim when it was replaced was messed up on the lip a little bit but nothing major. I am wanting to put spacers on it but discount tire won't work on the car with spacers as I won't have enough threads on it to be considered safe to drive. Can I buy longer studs so that the lack of threads would no longer be a problem for discount tire? Considering I have had 6 flats in the last 4 months (going down tomorrow to fi another), I need to be able to have those guys work on the car.

What are your opinions?

get hub shims (aka spacers from Keoki)
wheel spacers are dangerous.

 

^^^^What Randy said... Get a hold of Keoki for his shims. He has everything to do it right.

Could you explain what a hub shim is and how it works lol? Just curious as I thought you where all using wheel spacers. I need to be inlightened.

 

wheel spacers go between da wheel and brake assembly! hub spacers go between da rear axle and brake assembly! just give me a call bro!
