I put it up on the Phoenix calendar. You have event calendar access on your Scionetics account and can add NM events. Next time you log in on the site go to the Member Area and then into the car club menu.

I chose a random date of 1/28/2006 and told people to sign up even if they THINK they might want to attend so we can try to plan this one out.

Also, I used the address for the Silver City Chamber of Commerce so the map link would work on the Event Info page.

Is the 28th gonna be the date or what? I have to plan that weekend if thats the case , I am already scheduling for late January for Tatts , and my wife is a hairdresser and has standing appts that she has to move.
Also Silver City get's quite a bit of Snow Bird activity so we need to book rooms now!!

The first thing we need to find out is how many people would be interested. If the “roll call” numbers grow a poll would be taken for two or three dates.

If there were enough people me and my partener (The Wandering Dragon) would come up for a party ..
It's really a Bi#c* to load it all up and not forget stuff ,but we will do it for large parties.
Larry ( The Wandering Dragon) is verry good and has done 3 of my Tatts he also used to own a shop in Tucson but got tired of all the B.S. of employees and went back to basics..............................

my december trip to Cali has been moved to January so we'll have to see depending on the trip and financial situation but i don't think money would be an issue but more scheduling. I'm down for a long run with you guys though, maybe bring back some fireworks.

 

hey wingsaseagles the date im looking at was Jan. 7 or 8. One of the girls in my club wanted to do it before school started. But i will talk with my club members to see when we wanna do it. I'm really up for any date but I dont wanna be the only one showin up for NM. There are other issues I'm thinking about for the Jan. meet:

1. How will the weather be? (Cold, Snow) I read up on the Silver City website that they dont really get snow so it shouldnt be an issue. And it said its about 50 degrees around Jan. I believe. But it could all change know what I mean.

2. What to do in Silver City? If its cold i dont think we would want to go hiking or any outdoor activities. I guess it just depends on the weather really.

3. Cost. What would be the cost of the hotels you were trying to reserve. There would be about 10-20 of us going but thats not 100% becuase I have not talked to all my members yet.

Let me know what up. I really dont know whos going to run it from the AZ side. Randy (randode) had the idea and someone else set up an event page on Scionetics so I dont really know who to talk to. Guys let me know!
