Im still all for leaving at 3am too. I switched my shift with Mark the day before so I can get off earlier and be ready to leave at 3-3:30.

 

I ditto that. I remember when we went to Rocky Point last summer with a bunch of people and we wanted to leave early, then it was 5am. Everybody was _____ing about it but we did anyway, then when we were sitting on the beach at 10:30am relaxing with the drive behind us everybody was thanking us because then we had the whole day. It was kinda like having an extra day there.

 

Scott. I believe there is a second meet up that shoul be added. Rockblocker and some other people want to leave out later.
first lets decide on location,
there is no super walmart near or on the way that we could all meet at.
from my understanding i thought we were meeting up @ fire bird.
lets decide between FIREBIRD RACEWAY OR BEST BUY.
firebird would be better in my opinion for the far eastsiders.
second lets deicde times. first roll out can be at 3am. seconf can be @ 7or 8am (i think thats when chads rolling out)

 

I leave for rocky point at 3:30 am. Hit the border right when it opens and am sitting on the beach by 8:30am

Hey Chad if you or anyone is rolling out later let me know. I got school and work thursday night which means it would be a quick turnaround to leave at 3. I personally don't see a need to get there and sit around all day friday.

 

Its kind of funny all of sudden everyone wants to leave so early. When I first posted 6 or 7 everyone was whining about how early that was.

Anyways 3 am will make way to many people late or cranky/_____y for the day. I am cool with leaving at 6 am in the second group of cars that can make at that time. Im sure we will hit some traffic in Tucson, but oh well, cant be all that bad compared to PHX.

So I guess I will head up the 6 Am roll out Meeting point is Firebird Raceway exit

Since many of us early birds live far south of the valley or in the east... why not set a meeting point say in Casa grande? If you hang a right on the main offramp to the city, there is a super walmart not to far down on the left. We could all meet up there / stop for say 1/2 hour for everyone to arrive and then roll out. Just a thought. That way no one is backtracking all over just to meet before the trip.

 

Im cool with meeting in casa grande...I much rather go south for a meeting point than north. But will this be a 3am meet or later???

 

I would say a 3:30 - 3:45 meeting... that way people have time to get up and leave around 3am.

 

I have added a roll call and changed some names around. If anyone would like their name moved from one roll call to another just let me know. We still need to lock down locations for each meet up point

I saw that but in the original post I was asking for suggestions for another time, didn't expect people to start another roll call somewhere else in the thread. I believe having both roll calls on the first page on first page will make it less confusing and easier for people to find information.
