ROSWELL
Thanks again to Steve ; the management team at Roswell Toyota; and Scion corp plus the sponsors who help with another top notch event in New Mexico. We are already planning to attend next year's show. Sounds like Steve has special plans for next year's event and if things come together, this one should be on top of everyones list.
Those who decided not to attend this year show missed out on some great give-a-aways. Felt like Christmas with all the stuff being given out. Why would anyone pass up a show/event that gives out cash prizes with the trophies ? No small token amount either, but the kind of money that makes you say "WOW". Every show has some kind of plaque or trophy, but how many can you come up with that give you cash to go with it?
Roswell event is unique because it is not just for the locals it brings together but Scion owners from NM, AZ, TX, CA, CO, and anyone else who can make the trip. We are able to see what our friends have done to their rides and exchange ideas. Every state has some outstanding shows and this being only the second time out for Roswell, they are still trying idea's out. It was sad to see what seemed like a low showing of Scion owners, maybe it was the date change, or people afraid of the weather, not sure what happened. But it still was a great event to attend. The Scion's that did make the journey where all great to look at and their owners willing to share what was done. (yes there was drama and controversy but I will leave that to some else to tell)
Steve -great job and can't wait for next year.

Good seeing everyone from last year, and like Randy said it was give away crazyness. All 5 cars in our little corner took money home too. I had more fun this year, too bad for the one that couldn't come. My wife was already planning new mods for next year on the drive home. All the guys at the dealership treat us like royalty.
See ya next year!

What if I'm still... in Roswell? I'm just kidding and it was my pleasure assisting my fellow Scion owners in mischief. Sorry it rained. BTW...Soupy, the R on the shift **** would have worked much better(of course, after the crutchless wonder got in).
Thank you all for the kind words. I had a great time and the 14.5 hours spent at the dealership was some of the hottest, tiring and most fun I've ever had.
Next year will be much better...No worries.
