Default sad day for dudehitt...

even sadder for a camo xB. I'm ok, but I don't think the box will make it. I got rear-ended by a scraggly-haired half-toothed scumbag driving an escort with a suspended license this afternoon. It pushed me into the car in front of me, but other than a foglight cover and a lower grille piece, the front looks ok. The back is pretty trashed, hole in the hatch, right rear body corner pushed into the tire, etc. Even bent the drivers side door lock where the back of my right arm hit it. I'll probably be a little sore tomorrow, but the impact didn't appear to knock out the brand-spanking-new lens implant I got Tuesday to fix my cataract.

I'll try to get some pics up tomorrow after I go visit it.

I know it's just a car, but it was mine and I was enjoying it and there is no more camo.

First of all, I am glad to hear you are okay, A vechile can be replaced. But I am sorry to hear that the camo is out. Good luck hope you dont have to pay to much for that bone heads mistake, if he didnt have a license then he probably dont have insurance. I hope that everything works out. Keep us posted.

Oh damn! Glad your ok Brent. Sucks about the xb. I have seen some body shops do some amazing frame work so the camo may be saved, you never know.

Good that you're ok. Shame it wasn't a 100 years ago. You could have shot his ___ and left him for the vultures!

Sorry about that Brent. Glad you're okay and no one was hurt.

Get it looked at by our body shop, they did the final fix on DevsTc's tC and I think she and Tim are happy with it.

Thanks everyone. I'm fine, not really even sore except for the tiny spot where my arm hit the door lock pull. The car may not be as bad as I think, but it's not pretty. We'll see after I go look at it this afternoon.

I thought about it, but he got off the freeway right away. I was trapped behind the car in front until DPS got there because I tried backing up and it didn't want to move. A guy at work just told me that's how they take care of it in Colombia, but there were 4 officers there so I don't think it would have worked out well.

I may bring out the minivan. I'm not sure yet, seeing all your rides may make me cry.
