^agreed. The xB went from "cool" to something I could see my grandmother wanting to drive.

I dunno why they changed it so much, I was so excited to see what the new xb'x are going to look like, and the more I see it, the more thankful I am that I have a first gen.
I mean I love my toyotas, but what was Toyota thinking? This and the new camry are kinda dissapointing.......

Maybe when they get out on the streets and people start customizing them it will help but I have a feeling that I am not alone with these thoughts.........
The new Xd is a cool concept, but this Xb............man I wish they would have put more thought into it, well let me re-phrase that, I wish they would have put less thought into it, I love the options that it comes with and you really cant go wrong with a Larger Engine, but this design......ewww...

just my 7 cents........

just one more cent.....

Its like when I see the new ones they kinda remind me of something that a Domestic Company would design and market to compete with the first gen xb's I really ponder why Toyota and Scion would make such drastic changes to something that worked so well the first time around

on a lighter note our only hope is that someone genius like Randode could chop this thing up and make it a piece of Art like his green box.

I will tell you, they drive great and hand fantastic. From what I understand they took what everyone said would be better on the 1 gen and came up with this vehicle.

I am not fond of the body design, but with the axis body kit, it looks sweet.

they just forgot to ask what not to change. the happy people probably didn't even answer the surveys because they didn't want anything changed.

As far as the looks go:
- they made the front look more aggressive and like the tC = ok
- they rounded out all the cornere = ok
- they put silly-looking PT-cruiser bubbles on the fenders = not good, but the 2007 bB has them too

It's OK, looks better in person than pics. I'd let my wife drive one, but I'll stick with my box.

just my $36525.02

^^I couldn't agree more. But last night was a fun event. For those of you who missed last night, be sure to attend the next event Scion puts on. Scion really takes care of their owners.

it does have a very different look but with all the features for the price, and the performance and handling you just can't beat it. With the AXIS body kit it does look awesome too.

OP RockBlocker, did you get a chance to drive one?

If so how was the drive?

How many people got a chance to test drive at Backstage.

I will be going to Backstage in Atl. on May 4. I guess now I know what to look forward to.
